W@W WRAP – Week 266

God’s plans and purposes... – We don’t need to be fearful about the year ahead. Instead, we can stand firm on God’s promises and see His salvation at work in and around us! Let us be eager to listen and obey when God speaks to us. Let us grow in trusting Him as He guides and leads us through each day. May we ask God to set us free from burdens that are holding us back from walking in all He has planned for us. Let’s simply declare today: “Here I am God, use me!” (Proverbs 3:5)

W@W WRAP – Week 265

What’s your plan to be in His plan, this year? – As we come to the end of the first month of 2022, let us pause for a moment to reflect upon our plan to be aligned with God’s will for our lives this year. Maybe it feels as if you have already had some missteps due to the busyness the new year brings. Don’t despair! How amazing to remember that our Lord speaks to us, over and over, about how to approach each year, each month, each week, and each day. Let us re-prioritise the time we spend in God’s presence, in His Word and in worshipping Him, so that His plans and purposes will prevail in our lives. (Ephesians 5:15-17)

W@W WRAP – Week 264

Pausing to come to Jesus… – Let us pray together today: “Jesus, it’s all about You! Everything we are, our entire being, starts and continues to flow from who You are and who You created us to be. We cannot be spiritually healthy without Your touch from heaven. So Lord, please come and renew our minds and fill our hearts. Refill our spirits with Your perfect peace, reset our priorities to long and seek after You like never before! Help us to simply come as we are and follow where You lead us. Bless us with Your presence so that we can find renewal and peace in You.” (John 6:37)

W@W WRAP – Week 263

Pausing to say Thank You! – We so easily fall into the trap of taking acts of kindness for granted. We may even neglect to notice the many blessings we receive from our Heavenly Father. We become entitled, expecting ¬¬certain things and becoming unhappy when we don’t receive them. How often do we take the time to sincerely say, 'thank you,' to God and others? Gratitude is not just something we practice as a polite gesture. Genuine gratitude changes our hearts to love more fully, our minds to be more sincere and humble, and our attitudes to value others and give thanks to our Heavenly Father. (Ephesians 1:16)

Pausing to Breathe! – Usually, when the new year starts, we are ready to run… We are prepared to chase our New Year’s resolutions, new spiritual habits, new opportunities, and all things fresh and different. Yet, I would like to challenge us today to pause and breathe – to tap into the unsung rhythms of grace – to be still and know that our faithful God has 2022 under control! (Ezekiel 37:4-6)

Pausing to Celebrate! – How often do you pause to simply enjoy eating your favourite fruit or treat? Have you ever taken a quick moment to look at it, feel it, smell it, touch it before indulging in the taste of it? As we enter a new year, may we take time to celebrate TODAY by being present in the moment and rejoicing in the many blessings we receive from God – however big or small they may be. (Psalm 118:24)

Let’s glorify Him as our Lord of lords and King of kings, as we reflect on the eternal love, hope, grace, peace and joy that He has brought into the world and into our lives. (John 3:16)
