W@W WRAP – Week 397

The Lord is My Shepherd – Do you truly know God as your Shepherd? Do you recognise Him as the One who intimately cares for you, who is always present to guide, provide and restore? He is the One who fills us with His peace, renews our minds, sustains us, provides rest for our weary souls, and brings calmness amidst life's chaos. God desires for us to find deep peace and refreshment in His presence, easing our anxieties and rejuvenating our souls, as we trust in His provision and divine plan for our lives. (Psalm 23:1–3)

W@W WRAP – Week 396

Hope in the Storm – As August begins, it's striking how quickly the year has passed and how many ups and downs we've already encountered. Reflecting on God's promises and our plans for this year, it can feel like we're racing against time, with each day bringing new joys to celebrate and obstacles to overcome. Yet, through it all, may we keep our eyes on Jesus and remember the profound truth that we are never alone. Even in our darkest seasons, God remains faithful, and He is our ONLY HOPE. His constant presence guides us through every storm, shaping us into all He created us to be. (Hebrews 6:19, Philippians 4:4–7 & Romans 15:13)

W@W WRAP – Week 390

Reflecting the hope we have in Jesus! – When people think of you, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Do they see someone fully committed to living a life for Christ? Or perhaps someone torn between worldly pursuits and the teachings of God's Word? Are you perceived as a genuine believer, an unbeliever, or merely going through the motions? Are you known as someone who is constantly anxious about life's challenges? Are you seen as critical of others or as someone who uplifts and encourages those around you? These questions prompt us to pause and reflect deeply on the impression we leave on others. (Romans 15:13)

W@W WRAP – Week 388

Returning to our First Love! – Have you perhaps forsaken your first love and initial passion for God? Close your eyes and remember the first time you welcomed God into your life – that exhilarating, fresh, new and exciting feeling, that burning passion, a fire deep within your heart. This initial passion is often characterised by a profound sense of joy, purpose and connection with God. Yet, over time, the demands and distractions of daily life can cause this passion to wane, leading to a more routine practice of faith. So, may we revive the zeal and passion we first had for the truth that is only found in Jesus. (Revelation 2:4-5)

W@W WRAP – Week 387

May our First Response always be to Pray to and Worship our Lord! – What an amazing gift we have received from our Lord! In a world filled with despair and uncertainty, we can find comfort in being able to sing songs of joy. Whether this joy comes from deep within our hearts or through prayer and praise, it is a testament to the enduring grace, faithfulness and love of our Creator. May others be drawn to the peace and joy we experience in the midst of life's challenges so that we can courageously share the limitless hope we have found in our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ – a hope that goes beyond this world and into all eternity. (Psalm 34:1-3)

W@W WRAP – Week 386

Pursuing God! – Seeking a deeper understanding of God is like an endless well. We can dig forever and never reach the bottom! Pursuing God means waking up every morning eager to dig deeper. It's being filled with God's love and presence, and yet still yearning for more! What is the greatest pursuit of your life? What do you dedicate most of your time to? What or for whom will you be willing to give your life? I pray that our greatest pursuit will always be longing, seeking and running after the goodness and faithfulness of our Lord. To be still in His presence, spending time in His Word, and drawing closer to Him as we earnestly pursue Him with all that we are and everything we have. (1 Chronicles 16:11 & Jeremiah 29:13)

W@W WRAP – Week 310

Our manual for life! – Do you ever wonder how you are going to handle a certain challenge, or how you will process what is happening in an important relationship? Do you ever say to yourself: "If there was only a manual that covered this situation!" The great news is… There is such a manual. You probably have one on your bookshelf or bedside table. It is the Word of God, the Bible. It is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God, written for you! Our Lord loves you so much that He does not want you to live your life apart from His wisdom and guidance. May we abide in the Truth, living according to Biblical principles and sharing the Good News with everyone we encounter.

W@W WRAP – Week 268

Growing in our prayer life! – “Lord, we stand with grateful hearts today, realising the importance of prayer. Not only does it draw us closer to You, but it is also an opportunity for us to fellowship with You. Please set us free from idols or distractions so that we can be found in the stillness of Your presence as we wholeheartedly seek You. Cleanse us, refresh us, and help us grow and reach our full potential for Your Glory and Kingdom purposes.” (Colossians 1:9-10)

W@W WRAP – Week 229

A Lamp unto my feet… – May we be intentional this week about spending time in God’s presence and in His Word. May we ask God to fill our hearts and thoughts with His life-giving, hope-filled words; so that we will TRUST the work of the Holy Spirit with fully devoted servant hearts; and then go out and spread the good news of HOPE and PEACE. (Psalm 119:105)

Found in Your presence… - May we turn our hearts to seek God – our great I Am – as we become more spiritually aware of His presence in our lives. May we not miss a single opportunity to hear His voice, to obey His will and to stand firm on His promises. May we be steadfast in our devotional time – going back to God’s Word as the foundation of our lives; our source of WISDOM; and the TRUTH that sets us free and gives us eternal HOPE. (Matthew 6:33)
