May our First Response always be to Pray to and Worship our Lord!

Read:

Psalm 34:1-3 (AMP): “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord; The humble and downtrodden will hear it and rejoice. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us lift up His name together.”

Act:

Let us be determined this week to:

Patiently trust in the promises of God. May we remember that challenges are part of a greater plan, and we can trust in God’s timing and purposes. We can find peace even during uncertainties by leaning on God’s providence. To stay grounded, let us immerse ourselves in God’s Word, maintain a steadfast prayer life, and seek His presence above all else. May we embrace the truth Jesus proclaimed in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life,” and share it boldly, praying that others will also seek a relationship with Him. Let us never forget the importance of walking with friends and Jesus for support, encouragement and accountability. We are never alone in our faith journey, yet sometimes redirection is needed. But, with God on our side, a crisis can become a divine diversion – an opportunity for God to reveal His purpose and lead us to renewed faith and spiritual growth.

Commit to prayer and worship. God is the ultimate solution to every problem. Even when we are facing pain, hardships or challenges, may we choose to fall on our knees and worship God, for He is worthy of all honour and praise. Prayer and worship are pathways to healing, restoration and a deeper connection with God. Let us remain steadfast in praying and praising our Father in Heaven, for that should be our first response to navigating life’s challenges with a heart full of trust, peace and joy in our Lord.

Pray:

Lord, sometimes life is really hard, and I know that the devil stands there strategizing against us, and fury arrows come our way. I ask You, Lord, that You will help us stand firm, that You will help us and show us from Your Word. Just speak to each one of us directly. Give us the truth, Lord, so that we’re not worried or have anxiety, but that we can just come to You and joyfully praise Your name and thank You for all the good that You’ve done and know that in You that we have got the victory. Thank You, Lord, that You know us and the intimate details of our lives. Thank You for allowing us to have faith in You. In Jesus’ name.

Dear God, we all have lots of emotions, struggles, pain and sorrow. Help us to produce joy out of them. Although our circumstances might not change, You are here for us, and You have given us everything to help us go through any situation. In Your name alone.

Oh, dear heavenly Father, help us cling to the promises of the hope that You provide for each and every one of us. There are divine diversions that sneak up on us unexpectedly. Our emotional makeup and our thinking can get a little confusing and disoriented. But You, Lord, are there with us in the process. We thank You, Father, that You reveal Yourself to us and that the divine purposes may continue to be walked out for each individual, for each household. We trust You. We love You. We believe that those encounters will continue to return and keep us on that narrow path. In Jesus’ name.

Father God, thank You that throughout the Bible, we are given examples of people who worship You in spite of the tragedies in their lives. And I thank You that when we worship You through gritted teeth, when we don’t want to, thank You that, that sacrifice is so sweet to You. It reminds our souls that You are bigger and better than anything or anyone else. Help us, I pray, to do this. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
