Unfailing Love… – May the prayer of our hearts for this week be: Lord, help us to live in Your unfailing love every day! Help us to establish our feet on The Rock that is the truth of Your Word. Help us to obediently trust You with all our concerns – grateful to know that our lives have been purposed and planned by You. Revive our hearts and renew our minds as we put our hope in You, Lord Jesus. Thank You for loving us and showing us how to love others. Help us to be Godly friends – shining Your light into a dark and desperate world. Father God, thank You for the new life You give to us through Jesus. Amen. (Psalm 85:6-7)

Nothing is too hard for our God… – This week, let’s trust our Lord to help us remember that we are part of a story that is so much bigger than us. May we be grateful that His love for us is truly unconditional. For God, nothing is impossible; and all things are made beautiful in His perfect time. May we ask our Heavenly Father to help us live out His Truth – His Word being reflected in our lives. As we keep our eyes focused on Jesus, may we be living water – flowing to those around us. A heart and mind audit… – May we ask our Lord to give us a faith-based perspective, as we firmly put our hope in Him. May we ask God to renew in us the desire to be found in His presence every day. May we grow in our faith as we draw closer to Him and reflect on the times that He has met our needs, answered our prayers, and loved and cared for us. May we praise God for filling our hearts and minds with His love, peace, joy and goodness. As we put our hope and trust in Him, may we encourage others to do the same. (Romans 12:2)

The joyful HOPE that is set before us! - We often find ourselves in seasons of waiting: these may cause us to grow weary, impatient, frustrated or even hopeless. But in most instances, looking back at those seasons, we see how our Lord has led us to grow in our faith and reliance on Him to fill us with His life-giving HOPE! May we rejoice in the FAITHFULNESS of our Lord; and allow GRACE to move us into the JOYFUL HOPE that is set before us. (Romans 15:13)

The faithful King of our hearts! - Let us examine our lives today – to see whether God is enthroned as King of our hearts. We need to recognise that relying on His strength to carry us through life is what delivers us from the anxiety and stress of trying to come up with our own plans! Do we strengthen our faith by reminding ourselves and others of the goodness and faithfulness of God? Do we wholeheartedly trust God with every detail of our lives? Our first response should be to praise and rejoice in our Lord, regardless of our circumstances! (Matthew 6:31-33)

Our God of endless hope! - Jesus has come so that we can have life and have it in abundance. At some point, we all face seemingly impossible or daunting situations. During those times, it may appear that there is no way out, or no way forward… BUT with God there is always HOPE! He can breathe LIFE and bring RESTORATION! He is FAITHFUL to His promises – and we can truly TRUST in our God of endless HOPE! (Ephesians 1:17-19)

Take heart! - This season, I believe for all of us, has been one of being intentional about growing in Christ. Maybe we have found time to reconnect with God more often, or possibly we are more aware of His presence in our lives, or we are spending more time in His Word... No matter how our faith has been stirred, let us continually strive to put aside our old ways and our own will, so that we can grow deeper in trusting God, and fixing our eyes on the eternal hope and glory that lie before us! (2 Corinthians 4:7-9 and 16-18)

Our God is faithful in every season! - As we journey through different seasons in life, we so often let challenges or uncertainties get the better of us. Yet, we serve a faithful Creator God Who is infinitely bigger than any situation we may face, and He knows the best outcome for us and our loved ones. No matter how our current season looks, let us all be found wholly and fully trusting in our good, loving, caring, miracle-working, and wonderful Saviour to see us through. Let’s trust our Heavenly Father to write the stories of our lives; and then let’s share those stories to encourage others and glorify His holy name. (Psalm 36:5-9)

A new way... - We often hear that God wants to do “a new thing” in our lives. Possibly it’s a new way of thinking, or a new way of serving Him or being fruitful in His kingdom. Perhaps it’s a new way of being more accountable with how we spend our time, money or resources; or being good stewards with what He entrusted to us? The one thing I have learnt over the years is that challenges (like this Covid pandemic) force us to change – to get out of our comfort zones, and re-evaluate what it means to live in the fullness of who our Creator God made us to be. (Isaiah 43:18-19)
