Yet not My will, but Yours be done! – May we be grateful today, that we worship an almighty, unshakable Heavenly Father. May we grow in humility and trust as we seek Him and His will above all else. And may we draw closer and closer to our Lord as we serve and worship Him without limits. (Luke 22:39-45)
Praying for faith to believe… – May we ask our Heavenly Father to fill us with hope and faith as we boldly step into the unknown places He is calling us to. May we thank our Lord for blessing us with His healing power, joy, grace and strength to overcome our frustrations and live in the fullness of His abundant peace. May we go out and be Jesus’ extension of blessing to a lost and broken world – revealing His kindness, goodness and wisdom; and glorifying Him through victorious and obedient living. May we pray for faith to believe! (Hebrews 11:1)
A Lamp unto my feet… – May we be intentional this week about spending time in God’s presence and in His Word. May we ask God to fill our hearts and thoughts with His life-giving, hope-filled words; so that we will TRUST the work of the Holy Spirit with fully devoted servant hearts; and then go out and spread the good news of HOPE and PEACE. (Psalm 119:105)
The plans of our Lord – Restore, Renew and Revive! – me days we may feel disheartened, BUT we can hold onto the restoration promises of our Lord for our lives. He builds us up! He provides fresh joy and peace every morning. He revives our hearts so that we can be fully devoted to Him, and obedient to His calling on our lives! May we ask Him to lead us to become more Christ-like each day. We do this knowing that we have a mission: To proclaim the good news and trust in our Heavenly Father’s grace, kindness, faithfulness and goodness. (Psalm 33:11)
Through it all – it is well with my soul! – God alone is the One who can truly refresh our souls with everlasting hope, unyielding love and unquenchable peace. May we take time to pause in the midst of our busyness, to experience His presence, to wait upon Him for answers and to follow where He leads us – all for His glory. May we trust Him to equip and help us to lead others well, and to provide for us to help those in need from a heart of care and compassion. Regardless of life’s ups and downs, may we remain in God’s rest all the days of our lives; and may we boldly declare: “Because of You Jesus, it is well with my soul”. (Psalm 62:5-8)
Building Strong Foundations… – We are here to build the kingdom of God – not just in our own strength, but alongside those our Heavenly Father has placed in our lives. We need to remember that nothing could ever separate us from the love and faithfulness of our Lord. This will help us to build walls of faith that will sustain us during difficult times. As we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus (our chief cornerstone), let’s trust Him for a heart of wisdom and gratitude. Let’s use words that build strong foundations in our lives and in the lives of those around us. (Ephesians 2:20-22)
Seeking God first… – When we seek God first, our lives are transformed! This involves not settling for anything less than God’s will and God’s way in all we say and do. It means being courageous to obey and follow where God leads us. It requires that we trust Him as our provider – the One we can always depend on. It involves a commitment to make His Word the lamp to our feet. As we immerse ourselves in His Word and presence – let us start to reflect the beauty of the Gospel and the goodness of God wherever we go. (Matthew 6:33)
Extraordinary love… – Let us come boldly to the throne of our Heavenly Father today, and ask Him to fill us afresh with the power of the Holy Spirit. Let’s trust Him to reveal His amazing grace and love to us in extraordinary ways; so that we may remain steadfast and faithful in sowing seeds of kindness, hope and love to everyone around us. (1 Corinthians 13:13)
