W@W WRAP – Week 424

What Is the Discerning Voice in Your Life? – The world is filled with noise—external voices, internal emotions, and the challenges of daily life. In the midst of it all, we face a crucial decision: Whose voice will we listen to? Will we allow fear, self-doubt, and worldly standards to shape our path, or will we choose the unshakable truth of God’s Word? God’s Word is living, powerful, and the ultimate source of truth. It never returns void but accomplishes His purpose (Isaiah 55:11). As we seek Godly discernment, may we align our hearts and minds with His truth, learning to recognise our Lord’s voice above all distractions. Rather than leaning on our own understanding, may we trust in His wisdom and allow His Spirit to guide our thoughts, decisions, and actions. The more we spend time in God’s presence and immerse ourselves in His Word, the clearer His voice becomes. May we walk in confidence, trusting His direction and following His lead with unwavering faith. (Genesis 1:2–4, John 1:4–5 & John 17:17)

W@W WRAP – Week 388

Returning to our First Love! – Have you perhaps forsaken your first love and initial passion for God? Close your eyes and remember the first time you welcomed God into your life – that exhilarating, fresh, new and exciting feeling, that burning passion, a fire deep within your heart. This initial passion is often characterised by a profound sense of joy, purpose and connection with God. Yet, over time, the demands and distractions of daily life can cause this passion to wane, leading to a more routine practice of faith. So, may we revive the zeal and passion we first had for the truth that is only found in Jesus. (Revelation 2:4-5)

W@W WRAP – Week 387

May our First Response always be to Pray to and Worship our Lord! – What an amazing gift we have received from our Lord! In a world filled with despair and uncertainty, we can find comfort in being able to sing songs of joy. Whether this joy comes from deep within our hearts or through prayer and praise, it is a testament to the enduring grace, faithfulness and love of our Creator. May others be drawn to the peace and joy we experience in the midst of life's challenges so that we can courageously share the limitless hope we have found in our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ – a hope that goes beyond this world and into all eternity. (Psalm 34:1-3)

W@W WRAP – Week 329

Two Sides of the Cross – When we see a replica of the cross, we remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for each of us personally. The cross could remind us of many things. Perhaps it is the moment we asked Jesus to be our Saviour. Maybe it is the promise of heaven, or perhaps the great peace and power it brings to our lives. Maybe it is the people that we know, love and pray for, that don't yet know Him. Most especially, the cross vividly demonstrates God's great love for us, in delivering us from the consequences of sin. It demonstrates the differences between light and darkness, freedom and bondage, life and death. (Isaiah 53:10 & John 3:16)

W@W WRAP – Week 249

For the One… – Let us pray today: “Lord we are thanking You that Your Word is our anchor and rock-solid truth! Fill us to overflowing with Your Word so that we may stand firm in days of trouble. Remind us that there is always hope, light and life through Your resurrection power! Make us confident in prayer, knowing that You will bless and provide for us according to Your will. Help us to diligently seek You, as we pray for those who do not know you yet. May they be reconciled back to you. Help us to be patient and full of peace as we faithfully trust in You!” (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

Remaining faithful... – May we ask God to help us grow in faith and hope as we trust in Him! Let’s remember that we are His children and He loves us dearly. This knowledge helps us to live obedient lives – walking in His love and grace, and boldly representing Him as we shine His light through our lives. (Jude 1:24-25)

W@W WRAP – Week 226

Building Strong Foundations… – We are here to build the kingdom of God – not just in our own strength, but alongside those our Heavenly Father has placed in our lives. We need to remember that nothing could ever separate us from the love and faithfulness of our Lord. This will help us to build walls of faith that will sustain us during difficult times. As we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus (our chief cornerstone), let’s trust Him for a heart of wisdom and gratitude. Let’s use words that build strong foundations in our lives and in the lives of those around us. (Ephesians 2:20-22)

W@W WRAP – Week 225

Seeking God first… – When we seek God first, our lives are transformed! This involves not settling for anything less than God’s will and God’s way in all we say and do. It means being courageous to obey and follow where God leads us. It requires that we trust Him as our provider – the One we can always depend on. It involves a commitment to make His Word the lamp to our feet. As we immerse ourselves in His Word and presence – let us start to reflect the beauty of the Gospel and the goodness of God wherever we go. (Matthew 6:33)

W@W WRAP – Week 223

Our journey beyond the cross! – What a privilege to have celebrated Easter together! The cross is a dividing point – a signal of the HOPE and LIFE we have because of Jesus. Sometimes we are overwhelmed with fear or questions – because we have such a limited understanding of what is happening around us. But the cross brings perspective – it reminds us of the key part of the equation between FEAR and JOY. The beauty is we can trust that our Lord is for us and with us. So, may we worship like never before! Jesus is risen. May our response to every situation be one of prayer. And then let us go out and share the good news of the gospel wherever we go! (John 11:25-26)
