Recommitting our lives to Jesus, having Faith and Believing again! – Do you ever question your faith or your relationship with God? Do you ever doubt if God is faithful and is who He says He is? Let us not only recall what He has done for us before, but recognise His ongoing work in our lives and the lives of others. How wonderful that we have His Word to meditate upon, knowing it's not just a list of do's and don'ts, but a testimony of His intricate involvement, goodness and grace in our lives. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Glorifying our Father in Heaven in all we do! – Have you ever wondered about the reason for your existence in this world, at this specific time and place? God not only created this earth and all its inhabitants, but He also continues to take care of us and provide for our needs. In light of His constant love, grace and goodness, what do you believe is His purpose for each of us? The Bible, God's instruction manual, consistently reminds us that our lives are meant to glorify Him in all we do and reveal His nature and character to the world, so that no one will have any excuse for not knowing and honouring our Lord. (Matthew 5:14-16)
A New Way! – Do you ever feel like you need a fresh start in life? This feeling usually arises when we realise that unexpected events have led us astray from our envisioned path. It could be related to our careers, relationships, health, finances, dreams, or other aspects of our lives. However, longing for a new beginning doesn't mean we have failed. Instead, it is an acknowledgement that growth and transformation are essential aspects of our life's journey. So may we turn to God first – knowing that for Him, nothing is impossible, He is faithful, and He can create a new way out of what seems to be dead or impossible. So, let us embrace the infinite possibilities that lie ahead as we walk, together with our Lord and the help of Godly mentors, towards a brighter future. (Isaiah 43:19)
Whatever comes next, we will praise our Lord! – In this world, we are bound to face unexpected challenges, injustice, wars, health issues, difficult decisions, evil and hurt. However, no matter what comes next, let us always respond by praising our Lord because He is good, loving and faithful. Our Heavenly Father is the only constant in our lives, and His truth propels us to embrace a Kingdom mindset, find hope and experience joy. Furthermore, we don't have to go through life alone; our Lord blesses us with a community of believers from whom we can draw strength and learn from their experiences. His grace ignites us with His divine plan and purpose for our lives so that we can earnestly praise Him through each and every situation and share His transformative love with the world around us. (Psalm 100:1-3)
Joyful Hope! – Do you ever feel there is no hope or find yourself in a difficult situation that makes it hard to believe that anything can change? Take heart, because with Jesus, all things are possible! In His presence, we find life even when our lives seem complicated and our circumstances overwhelming. So, instead of being anxious and worried, let’s find comfort in the fact that Jesus has already overcome the world and all its troubles and be filled with hope, joy and gratitude towards our Lord. (Philippians 4:6-8)
How He Loves Us! – Have you ever felt like you aren’t really significant in this world? It's easy to become disheartened when faced with circumstances outside of our control, or when the news fills us with anxiety. Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that we aren't sure how to handle, and we wish we had someone to turn to for guidance. The great news is that we have! You are so special to God that He not only created you… He knew you before you were born, and He knows the plans He has for you! He loves you unconditionally and is always willing to help you grow in your identity in Christ. (Psalm 139:13-16)
Jesus is Trustworthy! – We learn over and over through God’s Word, through conversations with Godly friends and through our own life-stories, that Jesus is worthy of our trust. He never has, and never will let us down. Even on days when we don’t understand what is happening, we can trust His will, His character, His love, His peace and joy in our hearts, and His history of faithfulness to carry us through. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
