W@W WRAP – Week 456

Strength in Listening, Leading, and Living Present — Rising like the sun in its strength means radiating a strength not of our own making, but of Heaven’s giving. Strength that does not fade when life gets hard, strength that does not break when battles come, strength that does not boast in self, but rests in God. True strength is not in striving—it is in listening. For one whispered word from God carries more weight than a thousand voices of the world. True leadership doesn’t control—it lifts. For real leaders don’t push people down—they call people up. Presence is not about being everywhere—it is about being fully here. For the most powerful gift we can give someone is not perfection, but our presence. Strength is not a closed hand—it is an open ear to heaven’s whisper. Strength is not in titles—it is in helping others rise into their calling. Strength is not in rushing ahead—it is in courageously standing where God has placed us, even when it costs everything, even when it’s hard. (Judges 5:31)

W@W WRAP – Week 455

Living Water, Lasting Confidence — Life, at times, feels like a barren wilderness—dry winds of striving, endless paths of uncertainty, and the aching thirst of a soul searching for more. We dig shallow wells in success, in approval, in control, but the water never lasts. The mirage fades, and we are left longing still. Yet into this desert, Scripture sings a greater truth: God Himself is our fountain, our everlasting spring. He does not leave us gasping in the heat—He calls us to come, to drink, to be filled with His Spirit until rivers overflow from within us. Jesus invites us: “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.” (John 7:37) This is not survival—it is transformation. For when Christ is our Living Water, the wasteland blooms, fear gives way to faith, and sorrow turns into songs of joy. And herein lies our life-giving confidence: It’s not in ourselves, but in the endless flow of our Lord’s presence. (Isaiah 35:10, John 7:37–39 & John 4:14)

W@W WRAP – Week 452

A Journey of Becoming: From Glory to Glory – Transformation. It’s a word we often treat like a single moment—an instant breakthrough, a dramatic shift, a once-off victory. But God whispers a deeper truth: Transformation is not an event, it is a journey. A holy unfolding. A daily surrender. A continual becoming. It’s raw. It’s real. It’s us—standing unveiled before the Lord, exposed, honest, vulnerable—allowing His transformative power to work in us. He doesn’t just touch us and move on. He takes us by the hand and leads us. Step by step. Season by season. Glory upon glory. Until the reflection in the mirror begins to look less like us… and little more like Jesus. From glory… to glory. From one degree of radiance to another. Until His beauty, His character, His light shines through us. (2 Corinthians 3:18 & Romans 12:1–2)

W@W WRAP – Week 436

Embracing Change! – After Jesus’ resurrection, everything changed. The disciples no longer walked with Him as before—He appeared in unexpected places, often unrecognised. He wasn’t leading them back to the familiar, but forward into something new. Change is uncomfortable. Whether through loss, transition, or the unknown, God invites us, gently, into a different kind of life. Not one that forgets the past, but one that makes space for what He’s doing now. Transformation takes time. And grace. So, let's be kind to ourselves during seasons of change. God is not only in what was—He is faithfully present in what is becoming. (Revelation 5:9-10 & Romans 12:2) “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” – Isaiah 43:19

W@W WRAP – Week 434

Repentance: A Lifelong Journey of Spiritual Growth – Repentance is not a one-time event but a lifelong journey of transformation. It goes beyond merely confessing sin—it is a continual surrender to God’s Spirit, allowing Him to renew our hearts, minds and actions daily. When we grow complacent, we miss the deeper work God longs to do within us. As A.W. Tozer wisely said, “Complacency is a deadly foe of all spiritual growth.” True repentance means refusing to settle for spiritual mediocrity. It calls us to keep pursuing God, with a tender, teachable heart. John the Baptist’s cry still echoes today: “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near” (Matthew 3:2). The Greek word for repentance, metanoia, speaks of a profound change—turning away from old ways and turning toward God’s truth and life. This journey is deeply personal, requiring patience, humility, surrender, and a willingness to be shaped by God's transforming power. (Mark 1:15 & 1 Peter 1:15–16)

W@W WRAP – Week 361

Our Only Constant! – We live in a world that is constantly changing. There are changes in political parties, weather patterns, interest rates, inflation, our health, relationships, finances and jobs, among other things. However, knowing that our God remains constant and unchanging is a wonderful truth. He has been the same yesterday, today, and will be the same tomorrow. In this ever-changing life, our Lord is our guide and anchor through all the inevitable changes that we experience. (Malachi 3:6)

W@W WRAP – Week 359

A Christ-like Mindset… – In today's world, it's common to see people expressing their opinions in different ways. Some do it peacefully, using words to convey their message. Others choose a more chaotic approach, raising their voices to sway others to their beliefs. This raises an important question: What do we believe, and how do we express it to the world? Thankfully, God has given us His Holy Spirit to guide us in our thoughts and actions. With salvation in Christ Jesus, we can have a Christ-like mindset to direct us in every aspect of our lives. (Philippians 2:3-11)

W@W WRAP – Week 358

A Different Perspective… – Have you ever wondered if your view of life differs from others? Do you often find yourself getting caught up in various perspectives, opinions, and the pains of this world, instead of seeing them from God's point of view? Let us ask our Lord today to help us redirect our thoughts towards Him and allow His Word to transform us. May we experience His unwavering faithfulness and boundless compassion, as we remain in Him, our source of hope, restoration, love and peace. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

W@W WRAP – Week 313

Mercy and Grace to lead us into 2023! – As we flip the page of our calendar from 2022 to 2023, it brings us reason to pause. We look back and remember all that God has done for us in 2022, and we look forward with excitement to His assignments in the new year. As we do this, two important words bring meaning to the past and hope for the future: MERCY and GRACE. They are indeed a perfect pair. As we understand their meaning in our lives, we appreciate all God has done in the past and have hope for our future with Him. (2 John 1:3; 2 Timothy 1:2; Ephesians 2:8)

W@W WRAP – Week 311

It’s All About Jesus! – If we look carefully during this season, we can find Jesus everywhere. May we REMEMBER the wonder of Christmas! The world celebrates one day a year, but we celebrate Jesus our Saviour in our hearts every single day. May we go back to the fundamental Truth – the Light of this world – and REALIGN our lives to the will and love of God. May we RECONSIDER the reason God came to walk among us. He calls us into an intimate relationship with Him – to know Him and to REFOCUS our minds and hearts on the greatest gift we have ever RECEIVED – Jesus! May this Christmas be centred on CHRIST! (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
