Embracing Change

Read:

Revelation 5:9–10 (ESV): “And they sang a new song, saying, ‘Worthy are You to take the scroll and to open its seals, for You were slain, and by Your blood You ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and You have made them a Kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.’”

Romans 12:2 (NIV): “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Act:

Let us be determined this week to:

Let go of the familiar and make space for the unexpected ways Jesus may reveal Himself. Let us trust the Holy Spirit to guide, comfort, and empower us.

Welcome discomfort as a sign of growth. Remember, God’s perspective is far greater than what we can currently see.

Learn to see from God’s viewpoint. May we allow His truth to reshape how we understand our circumstances.

Recommit daily to follow Christ. Even when the path is unfamiliar or uncertain, let us carry His message into the world, even when we don’t yet grasp what it will require.

Encourage one another through seasons of change. May we remind each other that resurrection always leads to renewal, even when the way forward feels unclear.

May we, like the first disciples, be willing to step into the unknown—trusting that the risen Lord goes before us, calling us into a deeper, fuller, and more surrendered life.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5–6)

Pray:

Lord, how amazing are Your ways! Our minds could never devise a plan like this for our redemption the way that You have. How immeasurable is Your love for us, Jesus! Thank You for all You are. Thank You for all You’ve done to save us, for Your sacrifice, for giving us so much. Thank You, Holy Spirit for inspiring the Bible, opening our eyes to understand the riches of God. May we honour You and worship You each moment of our lives.  In Jesus’ Name, I pray.

Father, I humbly come before You, acknowledging my sins and failings. I ask for Your mercy and forgiveness upon us. And I ask that for You to live within us and to strengthen us so that we may live a life pleasing to You. Help us to live a life that reflects Your love and teachings. May your Holy Spirit guide our thoughts, our words, our actions and everything concerning us. May we walk in Your light and find peace in Your presence. In Jesus’ Name I pray.

Dear Heavenly Father, we praise You for Your perfect plan and the salvation we have through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Thank You for redeeming us even though we are not worthy. And now, draw us ever closer to You. In Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.
