Our Deepest Longing – What is the deepest longing of your heart? We were created with an undeniable thirst—a void that only God can fill. We long for purpose, identity, love, fulfilment, joy, peace and freedom. Deep within, we ask, “Who am I? Why am I here? Does anyone truly love and accept me?” We crave emotional wholeness—a reconnection with ourselves and, most importantly, with God. Every time we seek satisfaction in anything else, we are left wanting. May our greatest desire be for more of God, knowing that only He can quench the thirst of our souls. (Psalm 107:9, Psalm 63:1 & John 4:13–14)
The Lord is My Shepherd – Do you truly know God as your Shepherd? Do you recognise Him as the One who intimately cares for you, who is always present to guide, provide and restore? He is the One who fills us with His peace, renews our minds, sustains us, provides rest for our weary souls, and brings calmness amidst life's chaos. God desires for us to find deep peace and refreshment in His presence, easing our anxieties and rejuvenating our souls, as we trust in His provision and divine plan for our lives. (Psalm 23:1–3)
Who Reigns Supreme in Your Life? – As we look at the world around us, there appear to be many 'supreme rulers' of people's lives… power, money, big houses, flashy cars, fame, expensive jewellery, 'likes' on social media, the latest fashions, and the list goes on. What about you? Who, or what, reigns supreme in your life? May we draw closer and closer to God and allow Him to transform our hearts, minds and souls with a deep and renewed understanding of who He is. This will enable us to stand victorious against the storms of life, serve as co-workers in God's Kingdom, respect and value each other, and live differently as we honour and glorify the King of our hearts! (Matthew 22:37)
Giving Thanks to our Lord Always! – How often are we intentionally grateful for the things and people in our lives? Are we able to give thanks even during times of struggle and doubt? Our Lord tells us that in Him there is life, grace and strength, even on days when we don't understand what is going on. By recommitting our lives to Him and seeking a closer relationship with Him, we can find comfort, rest and joy. It's His breath that gives us life, so may we pour out our praises and glorify our Father in Heaven, now and always! (Psalm 100:4 & 1 Thessalonians 5:18)
