Choosing life!

Read:

John 10:10 (AMP): “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]”.

Act:

Let us be determined this week to:

Trust that our Father God (Adonai) is in control. He is stronger than any situation or feeling. When we doubt, fear or feel hopeless, we are actually saying that we don’t TRUST the One who made us, who wants the best for us, and who has authority over everything. Let’s stop making our own plans and trusting our own abilities, let’s rely on and believe in the One who loves us more than we can understand. (Jeremiah 29:11-12)

Stop fearing and instead rely on our Lord’s strength. Our loving Father is saying to us today, “Because I, your God, have a firm grip on you and I’m not letting go. I’m telling you: Don’t panic. I’m right here to help you”. (Isaiah 41:13) (Isaiah 40:28-31)

Find rest in God. To be hopeful means to find rest, peace and happiness in our Lord. Let’s keep our eyes focused on Jesus (instead of the circumstances), in Whom ALL things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)

Choose life! Our Father God is crazy about us. He wants the best for us. There is HOPE and His plans for us are good. His love and care towards us will never run dry, because Jesus is light and Jesus is life! The thief comes to steal our happiness, our peace, and our freedom.

Let’s declare today: “No more worries and negative feelings. We choose LIFE. We choose LIGHT. We choose HOPE!”

Pray:

Father God, You said in Jeremiah 29:13 that when we seek You with all of our hearts, we will find You. It’s only in Your presence that we are safe. In the midst of our darkest and most fearful hour, we declare: Jesus, You are our HOPE! Father God, You are stronger and more powerful than any situation we may face. You are in control. You are eternal and almighty. You are the One who knows everything, who determines all things, and who keeps everything in the palms of Your hands. Jesus, we praise and bless Your holy name, because You are LIFE. We choose LIFE, and to have it in abundance, until it overflows. All for Your glory! Amen.
