Removing the obstacles…

Read:

Proverbs 3:6 (AMP): “In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognise Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]”.

Act:

Let us be determined this week to remove all obstacles that are keeping us from living a life in which we seek God’s will, counsel and presence above everything.

Let us be determined to:

Earnestly go before the Lord with humble and open hearts to receive His guidance and loving counsel. Let’s ask Him to show us what those hindrances, disturbances and show-stoppers are – the rocks in our path that need to be removed so that we can step into our Kingdom purpose and calling. Let’s be inclined to listen for God’s voice in everything we do and everywhere we go. Our Heavenly Father promises us that if we trust Him with uncluttered, devoted hearts – submitting all to Him and seeking Him first in everything, that He will straighten our paths.

Value our time with our Lord – there is nothing more liberating than to be in the presence of our Lord. Let’s recognise Him as our Lord and Saviour. Let us without ceasing, praise, worship and glorify Him. Let’s be committed to know Him more – to meditate on, study and examine His Word, to seek His will and to ask Him for wisdom on how to live full and fruitful lives.

Not see the rocks in our way as obstacles, hindrances, trials, pain or difficulties, BUT as OPPORTUNITIES to grow and mature in our faith!

Pray:

Heavenly Father, thank You that You are mighty to save, steadfast in Your love and kindness, holy and in control. Lord, examine our hearts and show us what the obstacles are, the desires of our flesh, that take higher priority than You. Thank You that you are dependable, faithful and trustworthy. Please remove all the obstacles that might hinder us from living the lives You planned for us! Revive our hearts and our lives to be in single pursuit of You! Amen.
