God is all-knowing!

Read:

Romans 11:33 (TPT): “Who could ever wrap their minds around the riches of God, the depth of his wisdom, and the marvel of his perfect knowledge? Who could ever explain the wonder of his decisions or search out the mysterious way he carries out his plans?”

Act:

Let us be determined this week to worship our ALL-KNOWING GOD:

The omniscience of God means that He knows all things – present, past and future (1 John 3:20). God doesn’t miss a thing, and nothing takes Him by surprise. His knowledge, understanding and wisdom are inexhaustible and incomprehensible to our finite minds (Romans 11:33; Psalm 147:5).

Let’s believe wholeheartedly that God’s omniscience enables us to:

Trust Him with our yesterday, today and tomorrow. God knows everything about us, in detail. He knew the plans he had for us even before we were born (Jeremiah 1:5; Psalm 139:13-16).
He knows us intimately, as David so powerfully describes in Psalm 139:1-6 (TPT): “Lord, You know everything there is to know about me. You perceive every movement of my heart and soul, and You understand my every thought before it even enters my mind. You are so intimately aware of me, Lord. You read my heart like an open book and You know all the words I’m about to speak before I even start a sentence! You know every step I will take before my journey even begins. You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness You follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. With Your hand of love upon my life, You impart a blessing to me. This is just too wonderful, deep, and incomprehensible! Your understanding of me brings me wonder and strength”.
There is nothing in our lives, that can be hidden from God – nothing that He is not aware of – not the things we do, our thoughts, or emotions (Job 34:21; Proverbs 5:21, 15:3; 1 Chronicles 28:9; 1 Samuel 2:3). We can therefore take great comfort, that our Father God knows about all things – our weaknesses, hurt, victories, needs and problems – yet He loves us immensely and He promises to take care of us and provide for us (Matthew 6:31-32; Philippians 4:19).

Live hope-filled lives. God’s knowledge, understanding and wisdom are perfect, infinite, boundless and eternal. Regardless of our past, our current circumstances or the future, our Father knows exactly what we need and His plans for us are good (Matthew 6:8; Jeremiah 29:1; Romans 8:28). When we seek Him first in all we do and trust Him wholeheartedly, we can rest assured that He will lead and guide us in wisdom and understanding and make our future secure.

Pray:

Father God, You are perfect, extraordinary, brilliant and spectacular – we praise Your holy name! You hold our yesterdays, our current reality, and our tomorrows in Your hand. You know everything about us – thank You that You are the only and wise God forever. Thank You that Your perfect knowledge and wisdom will guide and direct our lives. Help us to seek You first in all we do, think and feel. Grant us enough wisdom and strength to live hope-filled lives that will glorify You. From You and through You and for You are all things! To You be the glory forever. Amen.
