Drawing Closer to God Through All Seasons of Life – What motivates you to draw closer to God during specific seasons in your life? Do you ever wonder why you are going through exactly what you are experiencing at this very moment? Sometimes, we encounter challenges. Sometimes, we seem to hit a wall. While other times, we experience a sense of peace that surpasses all understanding. Regardless of the current season, let us know today, that our Lord is personally aware of every circumstance and situation in our lives. He assures us that whether in seasons of abundance or adversity, He will never forsake us. He is always near – all we need to do is draw closer to Him. (Isaiah 40:31)

Whose battle is it? – Do you ever feel like you are in the thick of a battle? Sometimes it seems overwhelming. But let us take heart today! Our Lord tells us over and over in His Word that He is in charge of every detail of our lives, even the battles. So let us stand firm in a position of prayer and worship, declaring and sharing with others that our Lord is with us. He is for us, and He is the One who brings victory and peace into every area of our lives! (2 Chronicles 20:15 & 17)

Our Legacy of Faith! – Our 'legacy of faith' deserves careful thought and action. When our Lord gave His life on the cross, He knew what His sacrifice meant for all of us. He knew the message of salvation needed to be shared. He sent out His disciples to do just that. Because of their faithfulness, and the faithfulness of others through the years, you and I know Jesus as our personal Saviour. We are now responsible and privileged to share this truth with those He places in our path and lives – especially our loved ones and the generations beyond us. (Psalm 78:4)

Peace be with You! - I pray today that we will die to self and surrender the entirety of our lives to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus, so that we reflect God’s goodness and love everywhere we go. May our greatest desire be to know and love God more intimately. May we run after an authentic relationship with our Heavenly Father, and implant His Word and promises deeply in our hearts. And may we hold onto the truth that Jesus speaks over our lives and the peace that He gives to us – until the day of His return! (Philippians 4:8-9)

Trust God and serve Him well! - May we be still in God’s presence and wait quietly and patiently for Him to “visit us”. May we be present in the here and now – trusting God and being content where He has placed us; and taking the next steps to serve Him well in all we do! May we not bow to the pressures of this world or the fears that threaten to cripple us. Let us hold on to truth and by faith, choose to surrender everything to our faithful, loving Heavenly Father. May we be bold and fearless in spreading the good news everywhere we go – not in our own strength, but relying on the Holy Spirit for wisdom and power! (1 Corinthians 2:1-5)
