W@W WRAP – Week 430

Hope Against All Hope – “Hope is the ability to see a beginning in what currently looks like an end.” (Jürgen Moltmann) Hope is not wishful thinking—it’s the deep, steady assurance that everything will be okay, even if the outcome looks different than we imagined. True hope is rooted not in circumstances, but in the One who holds all things together. Hope dares to look into the face of pain, loss, and uncertainty—yet chooses to believe that God is good. That He is at work. That beauty can rise from ashes. Like Abraham, we are called to hope against all hope (Romans 4:18–22), trusting in God’s promises even when reality says otherwise. Hope may feel like a paradox, but it leads us closer to our Father God. It holds grief and joy, sorrow and praise, waiting and fulfilment—all at once. When we hope in the Lord, He renews our strength, lifts our eyes, fills our hearts, and enables us to accomplish more than we can ever think or imagine, all in and through Him. (Isaiah 40:31, Habakkuk 3:17–18 & Romans 15:13)

W@W WRAP – Week 349

The Kingdom of God... – Have you ever noticed that what the world applauds as success is often the opposite of what God considers success? Indeed, sometimes the Kingdom of God appears upside-down compared to the kingdom of this earth. Jesus' servant-hearted approach and counter-cultural way of living challenged our world’s narrative of power, greed and self-centeredness in His time, as well as today. Jesus urged His followers then, as His Word urges us today, to live according to the Kingdom-principles He taught us. (Matthew 5:43-48)

W@W WRAP – Week 345

How He Loves Us! – Have you ever felt like you aren’t really significant in this world? It's easy to become disheartened when faced with circumstances outside of our control, or when the news fills us with anxiety. Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that we aren't sure how to handle, and we wish we had someone to turn to for guidance. The great news is that we have! You are so special to God that He not only created you… He knew you before you were born, and He knows the plans He has for you! He loves you unconditionally and is always willing to help you grow in your identity in Christ. (Psalm 139:13-16)
