The Lord is my strength! – Have you ever had a powerful, life-changing encounter with God where everything suddenly makes sense? These sacred moments feel like standing on a mountaintop – surrounded by God’s peace, clarity and presence. We feel alive and spiritually renewed, longing to hold on to these moments and stay in that place forever. Yet, let us not forget that while these mountaintop moments may be fleeting, they are graciously given to us as a source of strength, preparing us for the challenges we may face in the valleys of everyday life. (Psalm 18:1–3)
JESUS – Our Saviour, Bridegroom and Lord! – C.S. Lewis once said, “The central Christian belief is that Christ’s death has somehow put us right with God and given us a fresh start.” This statement beautifully captures the heart of the Gospel, which is not only about sin and forgiveness but also about grace, new life and transformation through Christ. The Gospel is centred on Jesus, our Saviour, Bridegroom and Lord, where the focus shifts from guilt and condemnation to His love, sacrifice, and the freedom He offers through redemption and resurrection. (Romans 3:23–24, 2 Corinthians 5:17 & Galatians 2:20)
Worship and Prayer - Worship and prayer are integral to the life of a Christian! Worship is the expression of God’s holiness, His goodness, His sovereignty, His immutability, and all of His resplendent attributes. Prayer is humbly coming before Him; knowing He desires what is best for us and cares about every detail of our private lives and growing in relationship with Him.
