Time to worship…

Read:

Isaiah 6:3 (NIV): “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory”.

Act:

Let us be determined this week to:

Praise and worship our Father in Heaven. Let’s sing for joy to the Lord for He is King of kings, Lord of lords, Saviour of the world, Bread of life, Prince of peace, and Light of the world. Let’s shout our loudest praises to God for He has saved us! Let’s bring shouts of joy before Him for He is good, our mighty God, our majestic Maker! (Psalm 95:1-6)

Kneel before our Creator-God. Let’s bow down, always rejoicing in our Lord. Let’s pray all the time. Let’s give thanks to our Father God regardless of our circumstances. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Spend time in God’s Word. Let’s worship God by honouring His Word. Let’s ask God for a new revelation of His character, His goodness, His greatness, His will and His plans for us. Let’s allow the Word of God to guide our lives. As it says in Colossians 3:16-17 (MSG): “Let the Word of Christ – the Message – have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives”.

Worship God through our giving. Our most generous God extravagantly gives us all we need. Let’s make our giving an expression of worship back to Him. As it says in 2 Corinthians 9:11(NIV): “You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God”.

Pray:

Father, You are holy! Lord God almighty! The One who was and is and is to come! You are worthy Lord, to receive all glory, honour and power. We want to sing Your praises. We want to glorify Your Name as the Name above all names. We come before You with thanksgiving, with shouts of joy, for You are a good-good Father. Great God, we worship and bow down before You, for You alone are holy! Amen.
