Eternal glory!
Read:
1 Corinthians 15:55-57 (TPT): “So death, tell me, where is your victory? Tell me death, where is your sting? It is sin that gives death its sting and the law that gives sin its power. But we thank God for giving us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One”.
Act:
Let us be determined this week to:
Give thanks to our Lord! Let’s proclaim with Peter: “What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have Him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven—and the future starts now! God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all—life healed and whole” (1 Peter 1:3 (MSG)). Let’s worship and glorify our living Saviour who made it possible for us to be in the presence of Almighty God, to have a relationship with Him, and to know Him more.
Celebrate our victorious Saviour. Jesus not only defeated Satan, death, the grave and hell; He turned darkness into light, suffering and pain into joy, sickness into health, anxiety into trust, fear into peace, bondage into freedom, need into sufficient supply, weakness into strength, depression into hope, hate into love, doubt into faith… He redeemed us, saved us and gave us hope. Let’s live our lives in celebration of the eternal hope we’ve freely received from our wonderful, compassionate, majestic, glorious, resurrected King.
Pray:
Merciful God, thank You for the gift of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Jesus, today we are in awe of who You are, and what You have done for us. In laying down Your life, You victoriously defeated sin, guilt, shame and death. Thank You Jesus, for taking the punishment for our sins, failure and pain upon Yourself. You alone are worthy of our praise – for in You alone, we find salvation, love, hope, peace, exceeding joy and eternal life! We will give You all the glory, forever.
Amen.
