W@W WRAP – Week 456

Strength in Listening, Leading, and Living Present — Rising like the sun in its strength means radiating a strength not of our own making, but of Heaven’s giving. Strength that does not fade when life gets hard, strength that does not break when battles come, strength that does not boast in self, but rests in God. True strength is not in striving—it is in listening. For one whispered word from God carries more weight than a thousand voices of the world. True leadership doesn’t control—it lifts. For real leaders don’t push people down—they call people up. Presence is not about being everywhere—it is about being fully here. For the most powerful gift we can give someone is not perfection, but our presence. Strength is not a closed hand—it is an open ear to heaven’s whisper. Strength is not in titles—it is in helping others rise into their calling. Strength is not in rushing ahead—it is in courageously standing where God has placed us, even when it costs everything, even when it’s hard. (Judges 5:31)

W@W WRAP – Week 448

Rooted in Hope, Rising in Strength – What looks like the end is often the beginning – There are moments in life when the weight we carry feels unbearable—when disappointment, loss, or fatigue leave us breathless and unsure if we can go on. In those moments, despondency whispers, “You won’t make it through this.” But the Spirit of God speaks louder: “Take heart. I am with you.” Courage isn’t something we manufacture in our own strength. True courage is born when hope takes root—when we remember that we are held, seen, and strengthened by the One who never fails. Like a deeply rooted tree standing through storm after storm, we, too, can stand—because Christ is our strength. (Joshua 1:9, Psalm 42:11 & 2 Corinthians 12:9b)

W@W WRAP – Week 316

Praise be to the God of Comfort and Promises! – Have you ever been completely taken off guard by a situation in your life – something you truly don't understand and that presents a great challenge? You know those are times when you realise that Jesus is your Lord, and that He brings the promise of heaven, but right now, it hurts. In those times when we struggle to understand the ‘why,’ may we rejoice, knowing that God doesn't waste anything. May we hold on to His promises, knowing that His comfort, love, goodness and compassion bring healing and eternal hope. (Habakkuk 3:17-18)

W@W WRAP – Week 291

What's your 'Recipe for Life'? – With today's modern technology, we only need to speak into our phones to get a recipe which ignites culinary delights. Just as there are certain ingredients, a certain order, certain timing, and even a certain temperature indicated in the recipe, our Lord presents in His Holy Word a recipe for life that lasts through eternity. The beauty of the Gospel is that we don't have to fear that we'll fail in our attempts to get the recipe right. Jesus is right beside us. He is our strength. He fills us with zeal to accomplish the task at hand, and nothing is too hard or impossible for Him. He will lead us as we grow and mature according to His master design for our lives. (Colossians 2:6-7; Ephesians 4:16; and Ephesians 2:10)
