Rooted in Hope, Rising in Strength – What looks like the end is often the beginning.

Read:

Joshua 1:9 (NIV): “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Psalm 42:11 (NIV): “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Saviour and my God.”

2 Corinthians 12:9b (AMP): “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.”

Act:

Let us be determined this week to remember to know:

God’s Presence Is Our Courage. “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me” (Psalm 23:4). We are never alone. In every valley, in every silent night, God is near. His presence dispels fear and revives our weary souls.

Jesus Is Our Unshakable Strength. We are not called to be strong in ourselves, but in and through Jesus. When our strength fails, His grace sustains us.

Hope Anchors the Soul. Despondency loses its grip when hope rises. Not wishful thinking, but confident trust that God is working—even here, even now.

We can Speak Life in the Storm. “Let the weak say, ‘I am strong’”(Joel 3:10). May God’s promises be the words we speak over our situations. Let’s declare truth louder than the fear that tries to cripple us.

Our Stories aren’t Over Yet. This moment is part of a greater plan. What feels like the end may be where God begins something new. He strengthens us not only for ourselves but for others. Our testimonies might be the spark of hope someone else desperately needs.

🌱 So today, let our souls be reminded: We are not finished. We are not forgotten. And we are not alone. The One who conquered death lives in us—and in Him, we can be strong and courageous.

Pray:

Lord Jesus, in the places where we feel empty and overwhelmed, be our strength. Not a strength that denies the pain, but one that overcomes it. When we can’t see a way forward, be the Way. When our hearts feel faint, breathe courage into our spirits. Let us rise again—not by might, not by power, but by Your Spirit.

Holy Spirit, shine Your light into the dim places of our souls. Lift the fog of discouragement. Remind us that hope in You is never wasted. Stir our memory with Your faithfulness—what You’ve done before, You can do again. Let Your voice be louder than fear, and Your promises stronger than despair. Anchor us in truth, so we may rise secure and unshaken.

Abba Father, we give You the broken places. Let them become altars of Your faithfulness. Use our pain to shape purpose. Use our stories to inspire someone else to hold on. We don’t need to have it all together—You hold all things together. Let Your strength be made perfect here, in us, right now. Let our lives shout Your glory even from the shadows. Amen.
