God's Word is our lamp... - Do you sometimes think about the year ahead of you and wonder where, what, and how things are going to play out? What’s the next step? Where is this path leading me? We sometimes feel fearful about the unknown. But there is one thing that we can be confident about – our Lord is with us and He has set the path before us (Jeremiah 29:11-13). He is the Light showing us ‘where to’ next. However, we also need to get our priorities straight – we need to remember that our deepest longings will be satisfied by Jesus. The way to glorify Him in all we do is to first long and thirst for more of Him. This leads us back to the basic principle of studying, memorising and meditating on God’s Word as a key priority. “Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path” (Psalm 119:105).
