Joy – Joy is more than just feeling happy. It is a gift from God that He puts in our hearts and is part of who we are. JOY means that, no matter what we face, we can put our hope in God's promises and His faithfulness. He is our Good Shepherd, and His love for us brings JOY into our lives! "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." (Galatians 5:22-23)
Love – When the Holy Spirit comes to live in our hearts, we bear His fruit — the Fruit of the Spirit. The first of these fruits is love, and we must live love! God's love for us is so great that He sent His son Jesus to die for us. He also wants us to love others the way that He loves us. Sometimes it's hard, but that's why we have the Holy Spirit helping us! "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
