Trust in the God of breakthroughs…
Read:
Lamentations 3:22-24 (ESV): “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore I will hope in Him”.
Act:
Let us be determined this week to:
Remember that our true value is sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ, our Saviour. We don’t have to hide behind masks or feel worthless during times of uncertainty. We were handcrafted by God and He has a very specific plan and purpose for each one of us (Jeremiah 29:11-13). Let us pray and trust Him to help us find our true value and identity in Him only. Let’s declare today: “Yes Lord! I know who I am in You. Give me the strength to step into my calling for a time such as this”.
Entrust our unknown future to our known Heavenly Father. Let us not be shaken by fear, anxiety or insecurity. Let’s rather be reminded of God’s absolute and reliable faithfulness. When we know our Father God’s heart towards us, we can easily trust His Word – which says that He is the same – yesterday, today and tomorrow. He is our only constant, especially when life around us is constantly changing.
Pray and believe for breakthrough. We serve a God of breakthroughs. Let’s refuse to believe the lies of the enemy – that we can do things in our own strength. Let us trust, obey and hope in a Heavenly Father who is fighting the battle and leading us into victory! As we call on His name, may our hearts be quiet to hear Him and then bold in obedience. This is the greatest worship we can give back to our Father God.
Pray:
Abba Father, thank You that You are a personal God. Thank You that You took time to knit us together, nothing spared or lost. We are not an accident. You took Your time and You had a purpose in mind when You created each one of us. Thank You Father, that You are a personal God. Lord, I want to ask that You will strengthen our sense of value. We trust You to come through the Holy Spirit, and not only whisper to us, but shout to us that You love us – that You created us, and that You value us. Father, we pray that all believers will realise that their value is sealed by the blood of Christ and not by anything else. (Zilke)
Heavenly Father, Holy faithful God… thank You for Your faithfulness, Thank You that Your faithfulness never changes, because You never change. I ask You Father in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, that You would continually imprint this truth upon our hearts. I ask that Your Holy Spirit would remind us of Your faithfulness; so that we can trust You and face the future in confidence – relying on Your name. (Yadira)
Abba, we want to thank You for Your favor upon us in these days. Help us to use this to our advantage. Help us to rule with the scepter of fasting and praying, interceding for the nations to turn to You. Help us to bring in Your harvest during this time. We give You glory and honour. (Taschja)
Dear Father God, we come to You in this hour and we pray for breakthrough… Breakthrough in situations where people are looking for jobs, where finances are critical. We bring You people who are really desperate – not knowing where their next meal will come from. We pray for breakthrough where parents are praying for their children’s salvation. We pray for breakthrough in sick people’s bodies, and for people trying to find a cure for COVID-19. We pray for breakthrough in broken and dysfunctional relationships, in marriages. We pray for breakthrough for people experiencing depression, anxiety, mental illness, hopelessness or despair. We pray for breakthrough, Father, for everyone to find a way out of their personal lockdown – a way out of their own virus situation. But Father most of all we pray for breakthrough in our relationship with You. We desire renewal and an intimacy in our relationship with You like we have never known before. We trust and believe Father that You will release breakthrough in Your perfect timing. (Rita)
Amen.
(This WRAP is with great appreciation towards Taschja, Rita, Yadira, and Zilke)
