At the foot of the Cross…

Read:

1 Peter 3:18 (AMP): “For indeed Christ died for sins once for all, the Just and Righteous for the unjust and unrighteous [the Innocent for the guilty] so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit…”.

Act:

As we celebrate Easter and our risen Lord and Saviour, may we:
Pray for the world, both for those who confess Christ and the millions who do not know Him yet, to have a whole new revelation of who Jesus is – The lamb of God (John1:29); Saviour of the World (John 4:42); Saviour of all men (1 Timothy 4:10); and Our deliverer (Romans 11:26).
Turn our hearts, minds and souls back to God, and ask Him to refresh and restore us as we remember and celebrate the great gift of SALVATION through what Jesus achieved on the Cross for us (Acts 3:19)!
Remember that nothing is impossible with God, and because of our Lord Jesus, who came to SAVE us; we have HOPE and ETERNAL LIFE (Luke 18:27; 1 Peter 1:3-6)!
By understanding this unmerited grace, pray to our Lord to give us more opportunity than ever before, to be His hands and feet, especially now… Displaying our Father’s loving and kind heart and the beauty of the Gospel – the good news to all around us (Acts 2:42-45).
Surrender EVERYTHING
(every thought, emotion, act – our entire lives) at the foot of the Cross (Matthew 11:28–30).

Pray:

The great I Am, we humbly come before You today. We acknowledge, O God, that there is nothing too hard for You. You are an all-powerful God, who has made the heavens and the earth. You, O God, can make all things new. You are the only one who can bring a great revival in this world. We humbly ask You to do that, O Lord. We cry out to You – that You would reach out to the lost during this holy week, O God. (Rumbie)

Increase my hunger and thirst for You Lord, as I know that that will only be fulfilled in relationship with You. Let me exert myself in response to Your mandate. Let me be moved in this time by Your compassion, Your pity for Your people and the people on this earth. (Michael)

Lord Jesus, we thank You – Lamb of God, Saviour of the world, and Saviour of all men everywhere;
Deliverer; Healer; and the eternal I AM – will You not help us today, and in this next week? We turn our hearts and our minds to the greatest sacrifice of all time; and we glorify Your name – believing that the knowledge of the Lord would manifest itself across the world as the waters cover the sea. (Suria)

I pray that during this season we wouldn’t be overcome with fear Lord. I pray that instead of running away from you, we would run to you Lord God. And I pray Lord, that You would open our eyes to see the people in our world as You do Lord; that we would start to see people in their brokenness, lost and looking for answers, and looking for solutions. (Nick)

Lord, You have come so that we may have life and life in abundance. In this time Lord, we are experiencing anxiety and heaviness. There are uncertainties in our hearts. Lord I just want to surrender each child of Yours to You today. We humbly bow down before you with tender hearts, Lord. The Psalm says that You will not despise us if we come and bow tenderly before You. This is what we want to do in this time – we surrender our hearts; we surrender our troubled minds. Lord, we surrender the heaviness we may have been experiencing during the lockdown. I want to ask You Lord, that You would flow like a river. In this specific moment, Holy Spirit would You come and minister to our hearts, come and minister to our minds. Lord, come and minister to our thoughts. Thank You Lord, that You are a strong tower. Thank You, that You are the source of our joy and that we may tap into that again – because we know that in You, there is everything we need to get through this Lord. (Leandi)

Father, we pray that Your will, will prevail in our lives and in the world right now. Father, always remind us, O God, that nothing is too hard for You. Nothing is too difficult for You. O God, the great I AM, You can do above and beyond what we could ever think or imagine. We pray, my Father, my God, that in this Easter period our hearts will be drawn to the true fountain, the fountain that holds living water. (Rumbie)

In Jesus Name I ask that. Amen. (Leandi)
