Step into the HOPE we’ve been called to…

Read:

Ephesians 1:18-19 (AMP): “And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very centre and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people), and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe…”

Act:

Let us be determined this week to BELIEVE and KNOW:
As children of God, we have HOPE! This is GOOD NEWS! God is too good and faithful to let us go! He is on our side! He is fighting whatever battle we may face on our behalf. His mercy and grace are sufficient and new every morning. He is ALWAYS with us! He is faithful. He brings life to dry bones. He provides, even if we don’t ask. He heals, because our HOPE is in Him. He blesses us, because we TRUST and OBEY Him. Regardless of our season: whether we are blessed and experiencing joy, peace and provision; or going through a deep, dark valley… We have HOPE, because of the surpassing riches of our glorious inheritance through Jesus, and the greatness and power of God’s Spirit living within us – His called, anointed ones.
We can live a life of HOPE when we step into our calling. We receive hope and direction in our lives when we respond to Jesus calling us. As children of God, we are called to serve – to play our unique part in the body of Christ – based on the gifts (talents) we received. Our calling is what gives our lives purpose, meaning, significance and value. This births intentionality, identity and HOPE within us. Living as God created us to be – fully obeying Him and trusting His call on our lives – opens the door to enjoying full lives that overflow to others. When we live the life God predestined for us, we become a fountain of HOPE. HOPE is what makes us fully alive! We can live a full, fruitful and content life as we surrender ALL to God and embrace the abundance of HOPE we’ve freely received through Jesus. He is our Lord and Saviour, Prince of Peace, our everlasting HOPE!

Pray:

Father, illuminate the eyes of our hearts – so that we may see and fully understand the HOPE in Your calling upon our lives. May we receive a revelation regarding the richness of the glorious inheritance we receive as Your children. May we continuously experience the immense greatness of Your power made available to us through faith. May our lives bring glory to You as we love You, fear You, obey You, submit to You and honour You in all we do. God of HOPE, please fill us with Your joy and peace as we trust You, so that our lives may overflow with HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit.
