Way maker, miracle worker…

Read:

Isaiah 40:3 (AMP): “A voice of one is calling out: Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness [remove the obstacles]; Make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God.”

Act:

Let us be determined this week to:

Examine our hearts and remove all obstacles that may hinder us from hearing God’s calling on our lives.

Worship God as the Lord of our lives, and King over all that we do.

Glorify our Lord for straight and smooth paths before us – for making a way, even if we sometimes feel there’s no clear way through “our wilderness!”

Do you trust that our Heavenly Father is your “way maker, your miracle worker, your obstacle remover?”

The song “Way maker” describes it so beautifully (this is a paraphrased version):
“Father God, You are here, moving in our midst. We worship you! You are our way maker, our miracle worker, and our promise keeper. You are our light in the darkness: our God! You touch our hearts and heal us! You turn our lives around. You wipe away all tears and mend our broken hearts. Jesus, You are the answer to every challenge and question we face! We love you and we worship You!”

Pray:

Heavenly Father, please come and straighten and smooth the path before us. Prepare the way for us. We pray for your glory to shine and for everyone to see it. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Amen.
