God is Already There: Trusting the One who has already gone before us

Read:

Romans 8:28 (NIV): “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

Colossians 1:17 (NIV): “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”

Romans 11:33 (NIV): “Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and His paths beyond tracing out!”

Act:

Let us be determined this week to:

Replace panic with surrender. When life feels uncertain, our first instinct is often to control what we cannot control. But God invites us to do something different. To surrender. Not because we understand everything, but because He does. Peace begins where surrender replaces control.

Trust the God who sees the whole picture. We often judge God by the chapter we are living. God is writing the whole story. His wisdom reaches beyond what we can see, and His purposes extend beyond what we can yet understand. What feels confusing to us is never confusing to God.

Remember that nothing is wasted. God does not promise that every circumstance is good. He promises that He is able to work through every circumstance for His glory and our good. Even pain becomes purpose in His hands. Nothing placed in God’s hands is ever wasted.

Take the next faithful step. God rarely reveals the whole journey. He simply asks us to trust Him with today’s step. Faith grows one act of obedience at a time. We do not need tomorrow’s grace to obey God today.

Rest in Christ, who holds all things together. When everything around us feels as though it is coming apart, Scripture reminds us that Christ is holding everything together. Including every detail of our story. The safest place is not where everything is certain, but where Christ is sovereign.

Pray:

Heavenly Father, thank You that nothing in our lives has ever taken You by surprise. Before we knew this season would come, You already knew every detail. Before we carried these burdens, You were already making a way. Forgive us for the times we have allowed fear to speak louder than faith and worry to become greater than worship.

Teach us to surrender what we cannot control into Your faithful hands. When our thoughts race, steady our hearts. When our strength grows weak, remind us that Christ holds all things together. When we cannot understand Your ways, help us to trust Your heart. Lead us in the next faithful step, knowing that Your wisdom is perfect, Your timing is never late, and Your purposes can never fail.

May our lives become a testimony that our confidence is not found in knowing the future, but in knowing the God who already stands there.

We fix our eyes on You, Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.
Amen.

 Remember: God has never arrived late to a single moment of our lives. He is already present in every tomorrow we fear, already at work in every situation we do not yet understand, and already preparing the way for our next step. So walk forward with confidence. Not because we know what tomorrow holds… But because we know the One who is already there.
