Experiencing Jesus: Heaven has Come Near

John 6:35 (NIV): “I am the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to Me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty.”

John 10:11 (ESV): “I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.”

John 10:9 (NKJV): “I am the Door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved.”

John 11:25 (NLT): “I am the Resurrection and the Life. Anyone who believes in Me will live, even after dying.”

Revelation 22:13 (NIV): “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”

Act:

Let us be determined this week to:

Come to Jesus as our true source of sustenance. He is the Bread of Life—not an addition to our lives, but the source of everything that truly satisfies. In Him, our striving ceases and our souls find rest.

Trust the Shepherd who knows us by name. Jesus leads with love, not force; with truth, not fear. He walks ahead of us, beside us, and carries us when we are weary.

Walk boldly through the Gate of Grace. The cross was not the end—it was the open door. Shame has no authority where mercy has spoken, and freedom is now our inheritance.

Live as resurrected people. What feels buried is not forgotten. What seems final is not finished. Jesus breathes life where hope appears lost and calls us to rise again—even now.

Fix our eyes on our Lord, Saviour and King. Jesus holds every chapter of our story. Our past is redeemed, our present is sustained, and our future is secure—because He reigns, forever and forever.

Pray:

Lord Jesus, dwell among us and fill our hearts with Your peace and presence.
Shepherd of our souls, lead us in Your love and guide our steps in Your peace.
Thank You, Jesus, for opening the Gate of grace; we walk through in freedom.
Risen Lord, breathe new life into what was buried—awaken hope within us again.

Lord Jesus, You are our Bread, sustaining us. Our Shepherd, guiding us. Our Gate of Grace, saving us. Our Life, restoring us. Our Alpha and Omega, reigning forever.

Reign in our hearts. Reign in our homes. Reign over our fears, our decisions, our future. Let Your peace rule where anxiety has lived. Let Your light shine where darkness has lingered. Let Your life flow where hope has grown faint.

We surrender ourselves again, not out of duty, but out of worship.

All glory, all honour, all praise belong to You, our Most High King, now and forever.
