Grace upon Grace

Read:

Romans 8:1 (NIV): “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV): “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”

Ephesians 2:8 (NIV): “It is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”

Act:

Let us be determined this week to:

Reject condemnation. We are not defined by our worst moments. Jesus paid the price in full to set us free.

Rest in God’s grace. Let us stop striving and embrace the truth that our Lord’s grace is enough for every weakness and every season.

Receive our Father’s love daily. May His mercy meet us each morning, and His kindness reshape how we see ourselves and others.

Respond with humble gratitude. Let our lives overflow with thankfulness. Grace should fuel our worship, our service, and our relationships.

Reflect grace to others. We have freely received—now let us freely give. May we be channels of God’s compassion in a world desperate for mercy.

Pray:

A Prayer of Gratitude for Grace
Father, thank You for the gift of grace I could never earn. Because of Jesus, I am no longer condemned but free. Let me never forget how costly and beautiful that gift truly is.

A Prayer for Strength to Live in Grace
Lord, in my weakness and failure, remind me that Your grace is always sufficient. Teach me to rely on Your strength, not my own, and to live each day surrendered to Your mercy.

A Prayer to Be a Vessel of Grace
Holy Spirit, fill me with compassion.
Let me see people the way that You see them, so that I might reflect the grace I’ve received by loving others as You have loved me. Let my life point to the freedom found in Christ. May I look around each and every day and realise all of the grace-gifts that You have given to me. Thank You, Lord Jesus. In Your precious name, Amen.
