In Awe of God!
Read:
Hebrews 11:1 (NLV): “Now faith is being sure we will get what we hope for. It is being sure of what we cannot see.”
2 Corinthians 9:8 (The VOICE): “God is ready to overwhelm you with more blessings than you could ever imagine so that you’ll always be taken care of in every way and you’ll have more than enough to share.”
Act:
Let us be determined this week to remember that:
Approach God with renewed awe and expectation. May we trust and know that He is able to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine. Let us not limit God by our past experiences or doubts. Instead, may we come before Him with hearts full of faith, believing that He works in ways beyond our understanding.
Surrender our need for control. Let us allow God to move in our lives according to His perfect will and timing. Let us release our desire to dictate outcomes, trusting that our Lord’s plans are always better. His timing is never rushed or delayed but unfolds in divine perfection.
Seek our Father God’s presence daily. May we never forget that encountering Him is the greatest wonder of all. Let us prioritise time with God, recognising that His presence brings the true fulfilment our hearts long for. For in Him we live, move, and have our being (Acts 17:28).
Rest in our Lord’s perfect provision. Our Heavenly Father knows every need and will provide through His wisdom and love. Let us trust God’s faithfulness, knowing that even when we cannot see the way forward, He is already making a way.
Celebrate God’s faithfulness.Let us remember the times He surprised us with His goodness. Let us reflect with gratitude on how He has guided, provided and sustained us. His past assures us that He will remain faithful in the days to come.
Pray:
Father God, we thank You for loving us unconditionally, even though we mess up all of the time, Father God. And we pray that we can continue to have grace for ourselves, that we can learn to turn to You, Lord Jesus, and we can learn to be bold and operate in faith and be confident, have no doubt, even when everything looks impossible, or we see nothing of what we are declaring, Lord Jesus. I pray that we will stand firm, we will not waver, we will speak, and we will declare, and we will trust in Your Word as Your servants, and many, many, many people will come to salvation because of Your miracle power working, Lord Jesus.
Jesus, thank You so much that the richness of Your Word never ceases to amaze us. I pray You will change the perspective of our hearts. Let us rely on You only, not on our own skill, not on our own ability, but on You, because God, You are the One that keeps our foundation firm. And Father, I pray that the result will be a lifestyle of unending praise, glorifying You, because You deserve the praise. We praise You not because of our circumstances. We praise You because of who You are. We praise You because Christ, You died on the cross for us to give us access to the Father.
Lord, we ask that You guide us always by Your Holy Spirit and glorify Your Name. Lord, we always celebrate Your mercy, love, and grace. We thank You, Lord, that we can ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
