Building Our Lives on the Cornerstone – Jesus Christ: A Journey of Faith into 2025

Read:

Ephesians 2:20 (NLT): “Together, we are His house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus Himself.”

Act:

Let us be determined this week to:

Trust God’s Timing: May we wait patiently for God’s answers, trusting that every delay or challenge is part of His perfect plan (1 Samuel 1:20).

Anchor ourselves in the Cornerstone: Like Jesus, the rejected stone that became the cornerstone of our faith (Acts 4:11), let Him be our unshakable foundation. Let us align our priorities with God’s truth, Christ’s teachings and the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

Allow God to Transform our Sorrows into Joy: Psalm 30:11 reminds us that God turns our mourning into dancing. So, let us surrender our moments of brokenness and uncertainty, asking our Lord to use them as seeds for a brighter future.

Be Living Stones of Hope: As living stones (1 Peter 2:5), we contribute to building a Kingdom of love and grace. Let us be intentional in acts of kindness, letting God’s light shine through us.

Embrace God’s Renewing Power: Isaiah 43:19 declares that God is doing a new thing. Let us identify at least one area in our lives where we need a breakthrough and trust our Lord to bring streams of hope and renewal into our deserts.

Pray:

Lord, help us trust Your timing, build on Your foundation, and reflect Your love. Transform our lives into testimonies of Your grace, as we journey in faith and hope. Amen.

May our Lord richly bless you and your loved ones in 2025. May He go before you, removing every obstacle from your path. May His presence guide your every step as you walk in faithful obedience to Him. May He fill your heart with His perfect peace as you trust in Him, anchor your life in Him, and reflect His love brightly to those around you.
