Let us be determined this week to:

Remember that this world is not our primary home. Our true citizenship is in Heaven, where we will be fully united with God. Our deepest sense of belonging comes from being part of God’s family through Jesus Christ.

Know that we are deeply loved by God. His love for us is immeasurable and unfailing. Accepting His love can sometimes be difficult since it challenges our insecurities and self-doubt. We often measure our worth by our actions, achievements or failures. But may we always remember that we are deemed worthy through the blood of Jesus and that God’s love for us is based not on who we are, but on who He is – unchanging, faithful and full or grace.

Worship God in all we do. We were created to love God and glorify Him through every aspect of our lives. May our daily lives be acts of worship and praise to our Lord as we live with purpose, serve others and reflect His love and light in this world.

Pray:

Father, I just want to pray this one Prayer Paul prayed in Ephesians 3, where we say, “May we be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and the width, and the height and the depth of Your love for us. May we know that Christ’s love surpasses all knowledge, so we may be filled with all the fullness of You.

Please Lord, we want to worship You in spirit and truth. We want to know who we worship, and we want to offer You a sacrifice of our hearts.

Lord, help us to be with not our hearts, Your heart, not with our eyes, but supernatural eyes to see people how God sees, to love people as God loves, and to know that we are here with a purpose to glorify and honour Him.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that You have redeemed us and claimed us as Your own, and that we have the assurance that we belong to You. If there is anyone listening who doesn’t know that, I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide them to You and that they, too, may have the peace that surpasses all understanding by acknowledging that we are all sinners, that Jesus Christ came to die for our sins, and that by asking Him to come into our hearts and be our Saviour, we may spend eternity in Heaven with the Family of God. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
