Standing on the Promises of God: Nothing is Impossible for Him!

Read:

1 John 4:4 (ESV): “…for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”
2 Corinthians 1:20 (ESV): “For all the promises of God find their Yes in Him. That is why it is through Him that we utter our Amen to God for His glory.”
Matthew 19:26 (TPT): “What seems impossible to you, is never impossible to God.”

Act:

Let us be determined this week to:

Stand firm in our faith, trusting in God’s promises and power. Our Lord is good, gracious and faithful, making the impossible possible. Even when life is filled with storms that threaten to overwhelm us, we can trust and know that if God is for us, nothing can ever stand against us (Romans 8:31). So, may we always anchor ourselves in God’s unshakable promises and find our strength and stability through prayer, His Word, and our community of believers. By being founded on Biblical principles and immersing ourselves in continuous prayer, we experience growth and transformation. May we never stop seeking God’s presence, wisdom and strength in every aspect of our lives. May our hearts always long to know Him more deeply, spend more time in His presence, and actively set time apart for prayer and immersing ourselves in His Word. As we read in Proverbs 30:5 (NIV), “God keeps every promise that He makes!” Throughout Scripture, we find countless assurances of His faithfulness – promises that He will always be with us, to protect us in times of trouble, and to grant us peace that surpasses all understanding.

Remember that nothing is impossible for God. His strength gives us the courage to face each day with confidence and trust. May our hope forever rest in Him alone, to bring beauty out of chaos and life out of death. It’s His love and grace that sustain us, and He will never, ever leave or forsake us. So let us keep our faith steadfast and our hearts open to our Lord’s guidance and let us today declare, “Yet not I, but Christ through me!”

As we read in Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV): “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Pray:

Heavenly Father, we are so grateful that nothing is impossible for You. Though we may not be able to fathom goodness coming out of difficulties, You work Your redemption and restoration power and bring beauty out of destruction. What endless hope is found in You! There is not a single situation that is too much for You. There is no power stronger than Yours, so who could ever stand against Your purposes?

Under the banner of Your infinite power, we pray and believe that all of Your promises will come to pass. We will not lower our expectations for the troubles of life. Instead, we lift our eyes to You, Who reigns in glory above it all. We thank you and Praise You!

Jesus, our Lord, help us deepen our roots in Your love and faith and know that Your promise is everlasting.

Dear Lord, thank You so much for the invitation to intimacy in prayer. Thank You, Jesus, and Holy Spirit, for helping us when we don’t know how to pray. Make us faithful servants of prayer. We praise Your name.

Jesus, thank You that we know Your Word is and always will be true. You are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. When we feel faint, when we are surrounded by darkness and when there is no hope left around us, may our lights be burning. Holy Spirit, I pray that You will fill, guide, lead and empower us to be a hope in this world of darkness. In Jesus’ glorious name, I pray that You will remind us of Your promises. Amen.
