Let us be determined this week to:

Fall in love with the Word of God all over again! May we develop a renewed desire to read the Bible – not just for knowledge, but to truly know our Heavenly Father and be transformed by each word of His greatest love letter to us. As we devote ourselves to His Word, may we experience a deep, personal connection with our Lord that shapes our lives and aligns us more closely with His will. In reading and studying the Bible daily, God’s presence becomes more real, His guidance clearer, and His love more profound, transforming us into who He created us to be. So, let us purposefully and consistently prioritise our attention towards God and His Word. Let us seek His wisdom, guidance and presence in every aspect of our lives. Since then, through His grace and strength, we can leave a legacy of faithfulness and devotion to Him for generations to come.

Trust God’s wisdom and direction, knowing He sees the path ahead of us. Our Lord is intimately involved in our lives, caring about every detail and providing constant guidance, instruction, and support to help us make decisions aligned with His will for a fulfilling and purposeful life.

Stand firm on God’s timeless Word, find joy and clarity in His precepts, and draw closer and closer to His heart. In our fast-paced world, distractions can easily lead us away from God’s peace and purpose. Therefore, it’s crucial to guard our hearts and thoughts as they shape our lives. So, let us immerse ourselves in Scripture and prayer, for in doing so, we get to know God more deeply and start to live differently. May God’s Word always and forever serve as the foundation of our lives and the guiding light for our path!

Pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, what a privilege to have Your Word and know You. We really want to know You more and more. Lord, will You help us to know You so we don’t stay in the darkness? Lord, we want to know each one of these 66 books. And learn more about Your love for us. Help us, Lord. Open our minds so that we can understand. Give us a hunger for Your Word, Lord. Lord, then we want to be at a point where when we meet You, You will say, “Well done, faithful servant.” Help us, Lord, to be faithful in our quiet time, to be faithful in reading, and to be faithful in connecting with other Christians. In Jesus’ name, we pray.

O Lord, as we continue in prayer, You are such an awesome God. You not only created us in Your image, but You give us Your presence. You give us Your precepts. As we read through the Bible, Lord, we come to know Your character. We learn from You, and we long to follow You. Whether through history or prophecy, narratives, letters, or even poetry, Lord, You show us over and over, Your great love for us and Your plan for our lives. May we be reminded that everything in our lives depends upon our response to You. Lord, we continue to pray that You will draw us to every part of Your Word. May we be drawn to the whole council of God. May this longing in our lives draw others to want Him, too. May we have boldness of speech and clarity of thought in sharing Your Gospel as You would place people in our path who need You. Indeed, Lord, may we know You deeply and live differently. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
