Be Still and Know…
Read:
Psalm 46:10 (NKJV): “Be still, and know that I am God…”
Isaiah 30:15 (NKJV): “For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength…”

Let us be determined this week to:
Remember that in the tapestry of life, our experiences, challenges, and victories are woven together to form a vibrant masterpiece. With Jesus, we find the strength to face life head-on with unwavering confidence and amazing grace. No matter what obstacles we encounter, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, obstacles can turn into pearls of wisdom and resilience. Like layers of nacre, our praises envelop the difficulties we face and turn them into beautiful treasures that adorn the very fabric of our lives.
Refuse to be mere spectators, passive in the face of adversity. We can either stand firm in our faith or succumb to fear and doubt. Instead, let us embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and trust in God’s plan. As we surrender our inadequacies, worries and anxieties to God, we can find rest in knowing that even in the fiercest storm, He will fight for us and fill us with His incomprehensible peace. Let us trust in God’s perfect timing even amidst prolonged trials, for then divine blessings, growth, refinement, and deepening of our faith will follow. Let us anchor our souls in the steadfast assurance that Jesus alone is our refuge and strength. May we never give up or lose our hope in Jesus because, through it all, God is always with us. Not only do we have His Holy Spirit, but He orders an army of angels to surround and protect us wherever we go, because He loves us more than we can ever think or imagine.
In Romans 8:18 (AMP), we read: “For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us!” So may we be still before our Lord and know that in and through Him, we find strength, rest and peace that truly transcends all understanding.
Pray:
Jesus, thank You that we can live in Your resurrection power every day of our lives. We stand together today and proclaim, Lord, that we can face this life with a steadfast assurance because of Your presence inside and surrounding us. And no matter what invades our lives or the lives of our loved ones, we can know that through Your strength, we can turn everything that comes against us into a string of pearls that we can wear around our necks.
Dear heavenly Father, thank You so much for Your love that You bestow upon us each and every day. Thank You so much for Your blessings that come in the waiting. Forgive us the times, Lord, when we want to run ahead of You. Help us, Lord, to be steadfast in our waiting. Lord, keep our eyes focused on You and our hearts directed towards You. And to discover You more and more in our daily time with You. And to seek You, Lord, with all our hearts. Thank You, Lord, that You never forsake us and that Your love, Lord, is beyond our expectations always. Bless us, dear Lord, and help us always seek Your will and Your way and wait on Your divine timing.
Our heavenly Father, thank You so much for this assurance from Your Word. We want to thank You because You love us so much that You would not leave us without protection. You have given us Your Holy Spirit to live in us. And then You have also given us these angels to protect us. We thank You, and we bless You in Jesus’ mighty name, we pray.
Abba, I want to thank You today for Your words and thank You, Yeshua, that You will never leave us nor forsake us, even when we are in a storm. And like Your disciples were in this storm and how You calmed the storm, and even Peter, You said, “Come,” and upon that word, sometimes we step out in faith, trusting You, doing what You tell us to do. And then we, when we do that, we experience a storm. Did I hear God’s Word correctly? Did I hear His voice? But thank You that in the midst of that, we must not fear, but that we can hold onto Your promises, that You are a Father that will do what You have promised. And we thank You today for being a good, good Father. In the name of Yeshua, our Messiah. Amen.
