Lord, I am available – my hope is in You…
Read:
Ephesians 2:10 (ESV): “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them”.
Act:
Let us be determined this week to:
Declare, “Here I am Lord, send me”. Let’s start this week with this BOLD declaration. Each one of us has been created to live our lives in a way that will leave a deep and lasting legacy for those around us. There are so many ways we can share our faith with those around us! God wants to use us, in and through all seasons of life! And the truth is, He has already equipped us with the gifts and talents we need for this. How do we share the Father’s Heart with more and more people around the world? Let’s tell our stories, let’s respond in love, let’s listen to and journey with people, and let’s be found on our knees, praying like never before for the salvation of the lost. Will you say YES to the Lord today?
Start to rebuild and restore… What is in your hands? As part of the body of Christ, we are part of a much bigger plan. Yet sometimes fear or worry keeps us from saying ‘Yes’ to our Lord’s greater purposes. Will we choose today to trust that God is in control? May we choose to spend our time well – in the presence of our Lord. May we trust Him to restore, to renew, to rebuild and revive us with His love, power and life-giving HOPE! Let’s be intentional! Together we can restore and rebuild lost and broken places in our lives, breathing new life into a world that so desperately need it.
Have hope for a bright future. God has a plan for each and every one of us. He has a future of HOPE for us (Jeremiah 29:11). The testing of our faith produces HOPE! (Hebrews 11:1) May we be a people filled with HOPE – so much so, that we overflow and leave the fragrance of HOPE wherever we go. Hope is incredibly powerful. It has the power to break chains, set us free and lead us right into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Let’s run our race by faith – praising our Lord more and more.
Pray:
Our Wonderful Heavenly Father, we stand united in prayer today, asking You to help each of us to heartily exercise the gifts that you have given us. Help us to use the beautiful talents that we so often hide away. And Father, when we use these gifts, may we do this only for Your glory.
Dear Lord, You call us to servanthood. Holy Spirit, rise up within us and show us where You need us to act. Lead us to the people You know need our help. Show us what our gifts are and where you need us to use them to let Your Kingdom come. Direct our thoughts, emotions and deeds to the things that will contribute to Your greater plan of revival and rebuilding. Help us to encourage others who are also carrying out Your plan. Dear Lord, call us to servanthood.
Lord, help us to use our story to tell people about You, and about what You’ve done in our lives, as a testimony of Your goodness and Your grace. Help us as leaders and organisations to reach people. We long to help them understand Your heart, Your love for them and Your faithfulness as You go after them. Even when their lives change and their world seems to be upside down, would You speak to them. Whether it’s in a dream or through a sign, would You just speak to them and amaze them with Your love. We pray this in Your mighty name. Thank You Lord.
Heavenly Father thank You for so many reminders in Your Word that we need to not fear. Lord, You know each heart, and the doubts and fears that lie within them. May Your truth wash over every person, and may they experience Your peace that transcends all understanding. Help us to get our joy back, and to use opportunities where fear overwhelms us to get closer to You, and to draw others to You. Lord we don’t know what the future holds, but we trust Your plan for us. Give each person here the strength they need to overcome the worries they are facing. We thank You for Your grace and all of Your blessings.
Father, I want to thank You that our hope is in You. Thank You that our lives are in You, and our strength is in You. Father thank You that You are the One that gives us hope. And thank You that we can just put our trust in You and praise You for what You are about to do! In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Amen.
