W@W WRAP – Week 464
FROM WRESTLING TO TRUST: When Life Feels Unfair, God Becomes Our Portion and Our Peace (Psalm 73) — There are moments in life when our hearts feel stretched, tired, and quietly conflicted—when the world seems upside down, when compromise looks rewarded, and when those who ignore God appear to flourish while those who follow Him walk the harder road. Psalm 73 invites us into this deeply honest struggle. Asaph does not hide his disappointment—he names it. He wrestles with envy. He is shaken by injustice. He confesses a slipping heart. But something sacred happens along the way. The man who starts in frustration ends in faith, the heart that begins wrestling ends in worship, and the soul clouded by envy is cleared by eternity. Psalm 73 becomes a holy roadmap, guiding us from the instability of what we see into the security of Who we know. In the sanctuary of God, our perspective is lifted, our confidence is restored, and our desires are re-aligned to His eternal goodness. It is there that we rediscover this anchoring truth: “God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” (Psalm 73:2–3, Psalm 73:17, Psalm 73:25–26)
