Jesus is our Light

Read:

John 1:9 (NIV): The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.

Act:

During this wonderful advent period, let’s seize every opportunity:

To shine our lights everywhere we go. From the moment Jesus entered the world and throughout His life, He was a shining light, standing out wherever He went. Jesus said that we should be like Him – we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Matthew 5:13-14)!

Is your Godly light shining with such radiance that it gives light to everyone around you? Are you finding ways to glorify our Heavenly Father in all you do?

Pray:

Heavenly Father, we praise You that You have called us to light up the world. Please help us to shine our Godly lights in dark places and to always reflect Your love, hope and goodness. May the reflection of Your light through our lives bring You honour and glory!
