Our Sustenance

Read:

Isaiah 46:4 (NIV): “I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you”.

Act:

Let us be determined this week to:

Worship our Father God as the GREAT I AM. There is no god besides our God. He is the one who made us and everything around us. He is Lord of lords and King of kings. He is good and does good. His love endures forever. He is full of mercy, almighty, our nurturer and provider, our rock, our defender and healer, and our creator. He is the GREAT I AM!

Thank our Lord for it is He who sustain us. Our Father God is our provider. Through the Holy Spirit, He equips and empowers us with all that is needed for us to live extraordinary lives. We can trust Him to supply the sustenance we need.

Allow our Lord to carry us. We see a picture of perfect love in Isaiah 46:3-4 – Our Heavenly Father carrying us since the day we were born and the promise that He will continue to carry us until we are old and gray. He will do this even if the entire world gives way, because He loves us.

Thank our Father for helping us. Let’s together with the Psalmist praise our Lord for protecting us with salvation-armour; for holding us upright with a firm hand; for embracing us with His gentle ways; for helping us to live great lives; and for clearing the ground before us to keep us steady and safe on our life-journey (Psalm 18:35-36).

Pray:

Our Father in Heaven, we love You. You make us strong. You are our shield and banner, our help in times of need. You are strong and mighty, our saviour. Your love is more than we can comprehend. Thank You for Your provision in every need. Thank You for carrying us, for protecting us, for keeping us above and not below. Thank You for clearing the path and showing us Your will. Help us to keep traveling on the road You’ve cleared for us. Lord Jesus, You make us victorious in life! Father God, YHWH, the GREAT I AM, may our lives glorify You! Amen.
