God-first living

Read:

Matthew 6:33 (NIV): “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you”.

Act:

Let us be determined this week to put God first in everything. Let us aim to:

Live aligned to God’s will for our lives.

Allow Jesus to lead and direct us step-by-step.

Spend our best time with our Lord – quality, dedicated time – building an intimate relationship with our Father.

Study God’s word (the Bible) and apply Biblical principles to our lives.

Allow the Holy Spirit to equip us with wisdom and strength for each day.

Live a prayer-filled life of total surrender to our Lord.

Live a life where character matters. Let’s put God’s characteristics on display. May our lives be a reflection of His beauty, grace and love! Intentional, God-first, right living – all to the glory of our Lord!

Pray:

Father God, we praise Your holy name! You are good, faithful, full of grace, mercy and love! We proclaim Your name as the Name above all names! Lord, we look to You today. Help us to live God-first lives that reflect Your beauty, grace, love, power and holiness. We want to put You first and glorify You in everything we do. We want to play our part in advancing Your kingdom. You deserve all the glory, forever. Amen.
