Being Jesus’ hands and feet…

Read:

1 Corinthians 15:58 (ESV): “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labour is not in vain.”

Act:

Let us be determined this week to:
Open our hearts to see the need around us. When the topic of giving comes up, our first thought is normally to give from a financial capacity. However, the truth is that we can help people in more ways than that – we can ask God to show us what their specific need is, wait on our Lord for instructions and then obediently follow the insights He gives us. The beautiful outcome of this is that someone’s life is blessed and enriched, but also, we grow closer in our relationship with our Father God. We witness His love and kindness towards His children through our obedience – as we become Jesus’ hands and feet here on earth…
Ask our Lord to help us to reach people with the message of salvation so that they can be freed from fear and be assured of eternal life. Let us use this time as an opportunity to encourage those around us with the TRUTH of God’s Word. There is restoration and transformational power in God’s Word. Let us never take for granted the power of sharing the Good News in our spheres of influence. Let us walk in TRUTH and LIGHT, knowing that we serve a mighty and powerful God who cannot be measured by our earthly understanding.
Draw closer, into greater intimacy with our Heavenly Father during this time. It is comforting to know that regardless of what is going on around us, we can stand firm on our faith (even faith the size of a mustard seed) – knowing that our Lord is with us through it all – He is our answer! God’s Word says that He will never leave us or forsake us – we do not need to be afraid and we do not need to feel alone. In Him, we can find rest and perfect peace!

Pray:

Lord, we want to ask You to open our eyes to see the way forward – so that we can reach out and touch other people in this violent storm that we’re in. Thank You for giving us enough – so that we can share. (Liezel)

Lord, right now we are consumed with so much uncertainty, and so many questions and doubts. Ultimately, we just need to know that You have not forgotten us – that You still care about Your children. Lord, thank You that as we ask questions and wrestle with You we grow into a deeper relationship with You. Thank You that You are infinitely bigger and more mighty than we could ever comprehend. Thank You for reminding us, that Your silence does not mean that You are absent. You Yourself are the only true answer. You know what you are doing, You are trustworthy and in control – and we surrender everything to You. (Carli)

Lord, we are waiting upon You for Your instruction. We know there is going to be a time when You’re going to open the doors and You’re going to ask us to move out and move away from this mountain; and move to the ends of the world, as You said in Acts 1:8. We desire to take the gospel to the people. (Jannie)

As we step into our prayer rooms we experience the closeness of Your Holy Spirit. And as we step away Lord, into all we are involved with in our day, we take away this message: That You expect us to take the good news of Christ to the world; and that this moment presents a massive opportunity – we thank You for that. (Christo)

Father, as we come to You this afternoon we want to thank You for all your goodness to us, for keeping us safe, Lord. But we want to ask You to be clear in Your instructions – to help us to take Your promises and to take all this good news about You to the world. (Jannie)

Will You help us to be more diligent and passionate than ever before to spread the message of the gospel of Salvation. We ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen. (Marisa)

Amen.

(This WRAP is with great appreciation towards Marisa, Jannie, Carli, Christo and Liezel)
