Something new…

Read:

Habakkuk 1:5 (AMP): “[The Lord replied,] Look among the nations! See! Be astonished! Wonder! For I am doing something in your days – You would not believe it if you were told.”

Act:

As we prepare our hearts for Easter, may we:
Fix our eyes on Jesus, especially when we don’t know what to do (2 Chronicles 20:12-15).
Maintain a Heavenly perspective as we set our minds on things above, not on things that are on earth (Colossians 3:2).
Put our trust and hope in God
to renew our strength and give us the endurance to triumphantly cross the finish line (Isaiah 40:31).
Ask our Lord to revive us again, so all peoples may rejoice in Him (Psalm 85:6).
Remember God’s mercy
and ask Him to make His wonderful deeds know to all nations (Habakkuk 3:2).

Pray:

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength and they shall mount up with wings like eagles. So, shall we pray. Heavenly Father, I ask that You help us to be those that fly. Lord, that You would help us to wait on You, to give time and energy to wait on You and to see things as You see them. To have a heavenly perspective. (Stephen Smith)

Lord, we want to fix our eyes upon You. As husbands and wives and children and littles ones, we all want to gather before You and we want to ask You Lord, please send Your Spirit to us. And help us take this message from Your Spirit: that You are with us; that we don’t have to be afraid; that we don’t have to be discouraged about the things that are happening; because You are with us. (Jannie de Villiers)

Oh Lord God, we come pleading before You. Lord, maybe You’ve not brought revival in the past because our prayers have not been desperate. We haven’t needed You in the way that we need You today. And Oh God, I ask that as You bring this world to a screeching halt, that it wouldn’t really be about a virus … but that it would be about God stepping into our midst, changing the entire course of history. Father as You send a spirit of revival to our land, we are believing… as You have done it in the past, that You will do it again, in our day. (Leslie Bennett)

Lord, let us know Your voice and follow Your promptings. God renew our strength to continue Your mission on earth. In whatever capacity we can Father, let us move Your kingdom forward, day by day. Father, I also ask the You bring Hope where there are desperate people. Lord, give encouragement to those that are discouraged and give strength to those who are weak. (Michael Bloch)

Oh Lord, like the sons of Cora, we want to sing a song of praise to You. Thank You for Your forgiveness, and thank You for covering all our sins. Lord Jesus, in this time we need You; we need Your personal touch. We need Your love and we need Your intervention in our personal lives. So come Holy Spirit, come and meet each and every one of us in this time, in a personal way. (Willem Badenhorst)

Lord, You are a merciful God, You are gracious to us, You are longsuffering, and You are filled with steadfast love for Your people. I thank You that You poured out Your wrath upon Your Son Jesus on the cross, Father, so that You could be merciful to Your people. Thank You so much God. Oh Father, how we pray also with Habakkuk that the knowledge of the glory of The Lord would cover the earth as the waters cover the seas. Oh yes, may it be so, for Your glory and for Your great renown, Father. Do it in our day. May the righteous live by faith. We pray in Jesus name. Amen. (Leslie Bennett)
