Christ’s Resurrection Power Within Us
Read:
1 Corinthians 15:57 (NIV): “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Chronicles 16:11 (NKJV): “Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore!”
Act:
Let us be determined this week to:
Walk in the victory of Christ. May we refuse to be held back by fear, doubt, or past failures. Jesus’ resurrection has set us free from the power of sin and death, enabling us to live in righteousness and grace.
Hold onto God’s unshakable hope. May we trust that no challenge or hardship is beyond God’s ability to restore and redeem. His resurrection proves that even in darkness, His light prevails.
Speak life and truth. We have a choice of words that uplift, encourage, and reflect the love of Christ or words that bring death, pain and sorrow. Remember, we are called to be God’s voice of hope.
Step out in faith. Let us leave our comfort zones and embrace the opportunities God gives us. His resurrection power is not meant to be hidden—it calls us to go, share the Gospel, and impact lives.
Seek deeper intimacy with God. May we draw near to Him in prayer, worship and the study of His Word. His resurrection power transforms us most when we abide in Him, letting His presence shape and strengthen us.
Pray:
Lord, thank You for the opportunity to come to You today. Thank You for Your Word constantly encouraging us and reminding us that You are never far away and that You have never left us. You’re always here, and You always see. Father, I pray that You may open our hearts to receive this blessing of Your presence, this blessing of Your comfort. We may be able to hear Your voice and what it is that You would require of us or want to show us.
God, we are humbled by knowing that You, our Father, are leading us in Your love and kindness, not just towards seasons of dependence and obedience and being courageous in unknown and difficult circumstances, God. But You’re calling us towards You. God, I pray that we would have a continuous conversation with You about what it means to be dependent, God. That we would not step back from leaning on You.
LORD of ALL creation, You alone know us better than we know ourselves; thank You! You have had a plan that we have been a part of since the beginning of the world. You redeemed each one of us from the sin that would so easily entangle us! Your death and resurrection brought us to life eternal! A hope for the future that no one and nothing can steal from us. We cannot praise You enough. Thank You, LORD! Come, LORD Jesus, Come!
Dear Lord Jesus, we thank You so very much that You gave us free will, and You gave us the power to choose, Father God. Please help us to choose wisely, God. Help us to walk with Your Holy Spirit. Help us to choose You. Lord, I pray that we will turn to You, we will wait on You, and we will be obedient and follow You where You are leading us.
<Father, we thank You that we can just give You every valley, every mountain, every path that is crooked, every road that is rough. We ask that You will come and that You will do as You have promised. We thank You that Jesus is the One that makes the way straight. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
