You are not alone!
Read:
Deuteronomy 31:6-8 (NIV): “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the Lord swore to their ancestors to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance. The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
Act:
Let us be determined this week to:
Remember that we are never alone. The Bible mentions the phrase “I am with you” many times, including in Isaiah 41:10 (AMP), which says: “Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].” This promise from God assures us that He will never leave or forsake us. No matter what challenges we face. His presence provides us with the strength and courage we need, and brings comfort and direction in life’s highs and lows. Let us thank God that we can rely on Him and put our trust in His faithfulness. May we look beyond ourselves and depend on God’s power and grace to navigate through life – knowing that He is always with us! May the knowledge and experience of God’s presence deepen our understanding that:
– God is for us. He is our good, good Father, guiding and leading us towards life. May we trust in His unfailing love and constant presence in our lives.
– We are His masterpiece. Being fearfully and wonderfully made, each of us has a unique identity and purpose, which are found through our relationship with God. Instead of comparing ourselves to others, let us trust in God’s plans for our lives. By following Jesus closely and cultivating gratitude, we can shift our perspective, and find contentment in the present moment. We can let go of self, value our relationships, and appreciate the grace and blessings poured out on us by our Father in Heaven.
– How we walk in this world is how we reflect Jesus in our words and deeds! It is important to speak the truth in love. When our hearts are aligned with the heart of Christ and filled with love, we become more attuned to the Holy Spirit Who guides us, by giving us wisdom and insight into whether to speak up or withhold our words. Discernment requires a humble and teachable heart, open to correction and guidance from God.
– Our purpose enables us to serve others in God’s love through the greatest gift ever received, salvation! May we ask our Heavenly Father to help us embrace life – never taking our salvation for granted or losing sight of its transformative power in our lives. May we understand the depth of God’s love and the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. May this understanding fuel our desire to live according to His will and, as children of God, to walk in the fullness of our identity in Him. May we open our hearts and minds to comprehend the vastness of our inheritance in God’s Kingdom and to live our lives with confidence – knowing that we are loved, accepted and chosen by God. May that propel us to be a light in this world, pointing others towards the love and salvation found in Jesus Christ alone. In Jesus’ words: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). May we celebrate and thank God that through Jesus we know the way and the truth. We are not alone, and we can find joy and eternal hope in being united with our Lord, now and forever.
Pray:
God, thank You for this moment together. Lord, I pray for each and every person. May they recognise that You are with them and that there is power in knowing that, because You are our Shepherd and You have everything we need. We thank You, Lord, and we praise you. In Jesus’ name.
Father, thank You that You are full of grace and forgiveness and that Your mercies are new every single morning. We don’t need to earn or deserve these things, Lord. You give them to us because You love us unfailingly. We don’t want to envy anyone. We want to be content, but we need Your help, Lord. Please help us to stay close to You so that we can see the direction in which we should go. I pray we would do nothing out of vain conceit, instead putting the needs of others above our own. And like Paul, help us to be content with what we have and where we are. Help us to count our blessings. Thank You, Father.
Dear Father God, we thank You that You have made each one of us in Your likeness and image, and yet we are so uniquely different. Help us to remain steadfast in You, not allowing Satan to corrupt our minds with his lies and illusions. Thank You for the truth that we are made for more. Help us to soak this truth in and to live it out. Enlighten our hearts so we may believe and receive what You have for us today. Show us a new perspective as we seek to honour You with our choices. In Jesus’ name we pray.
Abba Father, thank You that You love us so much that You sent Your perfect Son to die for us. We have an inheritance of eternal life with You in a place so glorious and magnificent that we can’t come close to imagining its beauty. Beyond that, and more importantly, we have a relationship with You, Your son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit – now and forever. Thank You that when the day comes to see our new home, we will be united with all believers from around the world. Thank You Father for this amazing and absolutely great gift. Thank You for Your love and goodness. In the Holy name of Jesus.
Heavenly Father, You are such a good, good Father. You are so gracious, and You have given us Your Holy Spirit. You have given us Your beloved Son and Your Holy Spirit Who lives in us. We can love because You first loved us. Help us to speak the truth in love, just as You love us and You love every part of Your creation. Lord, You are mighty and we trust that You will help us, that You will guide us. We are believing for Your Kingdom to come, and Your will to be done. We pray for our loved ones, for our neighbours, for our friends, for our contacts. Lord, we bring them to Your heavenly throne of grace that they may come to salvation in Jesus Christ. Thank You for Your plan, for Your work of salvation. O heavenly Father, we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
