Finding our Way!

Read:

John 14:6 (NIV): Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Jeremiah 29:13 (AMP): “Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”

Act:

Let us be determined over this special Easter weekend to:

Keep seeking, pursuing, listening, waiting on, trusting in and finding Jesus. His promise is forever true. When we seek Him wholeheartedly, we will find Him. When we find Him, our hearts will be overtaken by His unconditional love, perfect peace and overwhelming presence. May we open our hearts to experience our Lord! Seeking God will always lead us back to an open door to Jesus! He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Through Him sacrificing His life, we have access to a fulfilling relationship with our Heavenly Father and an eternity with Him. May we allow Jesus to speak hope and life into our hearts as we:

– Keep to His teachings.
– Keep to His words, His promises and His illustrations.
– Keep listening and focusing our eyes on Him.
– Keep to the Holy Scriptures.
– Keep to being in a posture of prayer and praise.

Then we will find our way – we will find Jesus!

If love is what you are looking for, God is LOVE!
If you need healing, Jesus is your HEALER!
If you are alone or afraid, our Lord promises to always be WITH YOU!
If you seek guidance and wisdom, our Heavenly Father is the One who gives DIRECTION and PURPOSE to our lives.

If we seek, listen, trust and pursue Jesus wholeheartedly, we will FIND HIM!

So no matter where we are or what we face today, there is always an open door to find our way back to God. It may not be an easy road, yet Jesus urges us: “My burden is light, just come to Me. Get away with Me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to deal with every detail of life. Walk with Me and work with Me – watch how I do it. Then you will find your way to Me, the unforced rhythms of grace, the unconditional waves of love, unexplainable paths of wisdom and direction, and My perfect peace!” (Matthew 11:28-30 paraphrased)

May this Easter be a time of surrendering everything to Jesus. A time of coming together and celebrating our risen Lord and Saviour. May we allow our hearts to be filled with joy as we remember the hope and new life, the inexpressible gift of salvation we have received through Jesus’ death and resurrection.

May we stand in AWE of our Lord and Saviour, reflecting on His sacrifice on the cross. Let us worship His Holy Name together… May we seek Him first in all we do. May we maintain our posture of prayer and stillness before Him – to listen and obey, to stay on the path He has predestined for each of us. May we trust with blind faith, knowing that God is in control. Nothing is impossible for Him, and His love for us is unconditional. He gave His one and only beloved Son for us to have an open way, an eternity with Him. May we still our hearts and allow them to be overtaken by God’s love, goodness, grace, peace and presence – as we walk with Jesus, finding our way in His way everlasting! May we never stop pursuing Him, His Kingdom, His glory and His story! We have learned that when we seek Him, we will find Him; and in finding Him, we will find our way to our Father’s heart. Jesus doesn’t just invite us to surrender and find eternal life. He also gave us the greatest gift – the way to a full, whole and meaningful life!

So, may we always remember:
Where there is faith, there is love.
Where there is love, there is peace.
Where there is peace, there is God.
Where there is a way, we will find Jesus, and through Him, there is everlasting hope and eternal life!

Pray:

Jesus, I pray today that we will remember we have two ears and one mouth. May we listen first. I pray that we will not miss You in our everyday life, but that we will consciously seek to hear Your gentle whisper. With every breath, we pray that we will honour You. May Your cross not be in vain. Your victory is what we proclaim because Jesus, You are the way, the truth and the life. You are our Access.

Thank You so much for Your faithfulness God. Thank You that we can put our trust in You and that You are unshakable. You are an everlasting Rock. We declare today that there is no one else but You, that we put our trust in You.

Jesus, let us not miss when You are taking us somewhere. Let us get lost in You – in what You want to teach us, in where You want to lead us, so that we can live in the fullness of what You are dreaming for us.

Thank You Father, that when we seek You diligently, we find You. You overwhelm us with Your presence. You take away the veils before us that prevent us from seeing You. You are mighty, holy and worthy, and we want to take that in. May we seek You more and more in every single aspect of our lives, and may we find You. Amen.
