God’s Grace, Love and Peace will Guide us despite the Unknowns…

Read:

Psalm 37:3-5 (NKJV): “Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.”

Act:

Let us be determined this week to:

Trust in our Lord. God knows every detail of our lives. As we align ourselves with His will and prepare ourselves by reading, meditating upon, and living out His Holy Word, we will know how to move forward. Romans 8:31 (NLT) prompts us, “What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?” What a powerful promise… God is for us! We can trust in and rely on Him. He is in control and has predestined our paths. As we learn from Proverbs 16:9, “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” May our steps be His steps as we seek Him first in all we do.

Delight in our Lord. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NLT), we read about the importance of love – keeping in mind that GOD IS LOVE! “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” Let us find joy in Jesus and in His unconditional, steadfast, loving-kindness. May we truly experience His love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and gentleness as we walk with Jesus and also extend that to those He places on our path.

Commit our ways to our Lord. Giving us a glimpse of what is to come is a special way that God gives us comfort and hope in the midst of our unknowns. There is a powerful promise, a ‘known’ in each of our futures… Jesus is the One who sacrificed His life on the cross to pay for our sins. May we be diligent in preparing ourselves for when Jesus comes again. May we rejoice and be glad, clothing ourselves with deeds of righteousness, and stepping out in faith as we live. May we stand on the promises of God, praising our Lord and glorifying Him in all we do. May we commit our ways to our Lord, knowing that blessings come from our obedience. Will you trust God to take care of your unknowns? Let us focus on the One who is familiar with the details of our lives, believing that His wisdom and grace are sufficient for us today! Our God is bigger and stronger than any circumstance and He is in control! Let’s trust in Him, and commit all our ways, all of our knows and unknowns to Him. He promises us that in all things, His plan is for good for those who love Him, those who are called according to His plan and purpose. (Romans 8:28)

Pray:

Father God,  we come to You to thank You for the steadfast loving-kindness that You manifested by giving Your Son’s life on the cross – as undeserving as we are. Please help us to see others in the same light and to reach out and extend Your loving-kindness in Word and in deed.

Abba Father, you give us these wonderful recipes in your Word. We need to taste it to see Your goodness, to see Your ways in front of us. Help us to acknowledge You in everything we do, everything we say, everywhere we go. Help us to really seek Your kingdom, and to look for places where You are at work, so that we can add our efforts to that. And Lord, help us to live with our eyes focused on Your Kingdom so that we can live in the confidence that what we need will be added in due time. We praise You for that.

Abba, we know that Your Word says that what pleases You is our faith, and I pray that we will keep walking by faith. I also want to thank You today that it is faith that works through love. We can have this love relationship with You, and from that we can step out in faith and do what You tell us to do. May we all keep walking by faith and not in unbelief. We will keep on trusting You in the name of Yeshua our Messiah.

Father God, we thank you for this privilege that we have – to stand united in prayer today. We are all over the world, but we share one thing in common – we truly love You. Change can really rock our boats at times, and we are not always sure what to do with it. Yet we know that You are our constant – that we can rely on You and trust You. We don’t have to know what is going to come tomorrow, because You are already in our tomorrows – and we thank You for that Lord. We ask that You will help us to trust You. Help us to re-align our thoughts to You. Help us to identify the changes that will make a significant impact in the way we experience You. Help us to walk with You and allow You to guide us every day.

Lord, we realise that our grasp on the future is not as detailed as we often hope for. We ask that You would guide us through our unknowns by Your wisdom. As humans we are confronted so often by things we did not even expect to come our way. God, we ask that You would guide us, and give us wisdom to turn to You and allow You to work Your mighty way. Lord, I pray for everyone that tuned in today, give them the peace that passes all understanding. Give them the wisdom to seek Your will in all that they do so that You can be glorified. We pray this in Your wonderful name. Amen.
