Light and Peace…
Read:
John 14:27 (NLT): “I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So, don’t be troubled or afraid”.
Act:
Let us be determined this week to:
Remember that Jesus is the LIGHT of this world. When we are plugged into THE Light source, He Himself will give us the power to shine and display the beauty of His gospel all around us.
Boldly ask God to let His light shine brightly in and through us. Let’s invite Him to use us according to His plans and purposes in the coming year. May we glorify Him in all we do. May we stop fearing and start living as the person God called us to be – bringing hope, love, peace and light to a dark and desperate world.
So, let us pray, like never before, for our families, our friends, our communities, our leaders, our church, in fact, the whole world, to experience and receive God’s gift of grace, love, hope, joy and peace.
Pray:
We pray Father God, for all those involved in ministry and church leadership, that You would grant them great Godly wisdom and Holy Spirit-led discernment. (Lucinda)
Abba Father, I lift up those in leadership all over the world. Soften their hearts, and give them wisdom and strength to serve those they lead in a way that is right and pleasing in Your sight. Please give them discernment and integrity in the decisions they need to make. (Tracey)
Lord, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to us as healer, as the One who brings relief and peace in the midst of suffering and stress. (Heinz)
Father, give us revival in our hearts. Remind us that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, so that whoever we meet may be refreshed by You. (Grace)
For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called: Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Heavenly Father, we pray for our neighbours. Show us Your unfailing love and grant us Your salvation. (Karine)
Father, in the Mighty name of Jesus, I thank You for revival… for reviving our families, our hearts and our souls. (Lulu)
Lord, we pray for revival in our churches like never before, especially during COVID. Father God, we pray for break-through and for your church to be revived. (Tarryn)
O Father God, we ask that You touch each of Your children in every country, tribe and language with a strong sense of Your powerful presence in their daily lives. Lord, we ask that You give them a vision for the lost, and a clear understanding of their calling. O Lord, we pray for revival that will touch every nation in our world. (Vicky)
Lord Jesus, thank You that You told us in John 16, that in this world we will have trouble but to take heart for You have overcome the world. Prince of Peace, we cry out to You in the midst of political and economic chaos; we thank You that we can hide ourselves in You. We thank You that You are the answer to the problems that are plaguing our world. We thank You that You are still the Prince of Peace today. We cry out for peace, but we cry out more than anything else for You, Jesus, to give us Yourself. You are the wonderful Counsellor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace, in whose matchless Name we pray. (Leslie)
“The Lord, bless you and keep you; make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you His peace” (Numbers 6:24-26). (Martie)
Amen.
(This WRAP is with great appreciation to Lucinda, Tracey, Heinz, Grace, Karine, Lulu, Tarryn, Vicky, Leslie, and Martie)
