W@W WRAP – Week 408

A Spirit-filled Life! – A.W. Tozer once said, “The Spirit-filled life is not a special, deluxe edition of Christianity. It is part and parcel of the total plan of God for His people.” A Spirit-filled life is not a special privilege reserved only for a select few. The Holy Spirit is God’s precious gift to every believer. He dwells within us, empowers us, and guides us. Living a Spirit-filled life is essential to our faith and enables us to reflect and glorify Christ and fulfil God’s plan and purpose for our lives. Through the Holy Spirit, we are not only strengthened but equipped and empowered to share the hope that is within us! (John 16:7, John 14:26 & Acts 1:8)

W@W WRAP – Week 407

The Lord is my strength! – Have you ever had a powerful, life-changing encounter with God where everything suddenly makes sense? These sacred moments feel like standing on a mountaintop – surrounded by God’s peace, clarity and presence. We feel alive and spiritually renewed, longing to hold on to these moments and stay in that place forever. Yet, let us not forget that while these mountaintop moments may be fleeting, they are graciously given to us as a source of strength, preparing us for the challenges we may face in the valleys of everyday life. (Psalm 18:1–3)

W@W WRAP – Week 319

When the Storms of Life are Raging – When the storms of life rage, and we cry for answers, and no answers seem to come, what do we do? May we run to our Heavenly Father, submitting to Him and seeking His direction. May we ask Him to give us the wisdom, grace and strength to persevere and relinquish all that weighs us down, so that we can be set free! Our challenges do not catch Him off-guard. Let us stand firm on the truth of who God is and not neglect His Word or our time spent with Him. Let us boldly ask Him to use our challenges to bring about a great harvest – for His glory and the advancement of His Kingdom. (James 1:2-3)

W@W WRAP – Week 208

Glory Hallelujah to our Good, Loving and Faithful Shepherd King! - Psalm 23 may be one of the most familiar passages in the Bible, yet it provides us with life-giving hope and comfort as we journey through life. It reminds us that our good, good Shepherd not only cares deeply about every aspect of our lives; but that He provides for all of our needs, He protects us, He leads us, He is faithful to always be with us, and He even gave His own life to save us! May we worship and celebrate our Shepherd. May we sing: “Holy, Holy, Holy – Glory Hallelujah to our King and Saviour – now and forever!” (John 10:14-15)

W@W WRAP – Week 199

Yes Lord – No buts… - My prayer for us today is that we will have a fresh encounter with Jesus, in order to build our faith and trust in the One Who is our rock and solid foundation. May we surrender everything to our Heavenly Father, our Provider. He has graciously gifted us with all the talent and ability we need to follow His call on our lives. Let’s not lean on our own strength or worldly perspectives, but rather follow the Holy Spirit’s direction! May we stop to look and see the needs around us; and may we surrender every aspect of our lives to our ever-present, Lord Almighty. (Zechariah 4:6)

W@W WRAP – Week 198

Steadfast in praying and determined in our faith… - May we remain confident of this: That we will see the goodness of our Lord here on earth. Because of His saving grace and great love towards us, we can boldly push through any circumstance. We don’t have to give up, or grow impatient in our waiting. Let’s rather take heart, and be strong, brave and courageous. Let’s hold on to our hope, because the One within us will never leave or disappoint us. He has already overcome the world, and there is nothing that can separate us from Him and His love for us! So, let us be steadfast in prayer, standing firm on our faith in Jesus; and by His strength, being a blessing to others here on earth. (Romans 8:37-39; Psalm 27:13-14; Daniel 10:18-19)

W@W WRAP – Week 197

Standing Strong… - As we face trials or tribulations, we can stand victorious, because of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. We have a choice – to either allow the world to shake us, or to remain immovable in our trust in God. So, let us be determined, in all circumstances, to STOP, PAUSE and PRAY about everything. Let’s feed ourselves spiritually every day, to keep the enemy at bay and to enable us to be a shining light to the world around us. May we boldly declare: “We will not be shaken, because we stand immovable in our trust in God!” (Proverbs 18:10)
