Our Father in Heaven, please guide our steps in 2024… – As we approach the end of 2023 and look forward to a new year, I would like to propose some questions for us to consider. How have you impacted and influenced the lives of others this year through God's guidance? How can you make yourself more available to pursue your calling and make a difference in the new year? What needs has God met for you this year? How has He been faithful to you in the past, and how does that strengthen your expectations for what is to come? Do you feel optimistic about the future, or do you have some doubts and a touch of despondency? What disciplines, habits, attitudes and practices will you continue, and which ones do you need to let go of? The list could go on, but most importantly, let us remember that even though we may reflect on 2023 and plan for 2024, God ultimately determines, directs and establishes our every step.
